The chain is great, this particular location sucks. It's gross and dirty. They rarely wipe down tables or anything in the kitchen, it seems. Grease dripping from the walls, literally. Staff is typically rude or aloof, at least. Cashier is pretty much never there by the time you get to the end of the line. Food is not consistent. There's a much better location just up the street in Clifton, it's worth the extra 4 minute drive to avoid this one.
Review Source:I was a huge chipotle fan, but this is the definite worst chipotle I have ever been too. Â The staff is so rude, food is always undercooked, if not cooked at all. Â Someone I know received raw chicken here and then was banned from the chipotle after complaining to corporate. Â Staff always have an attitude, slam down cups, rolls their eyes, etc. Â Horrible.
Review Source:Decent portions. If you go during lunch it will be mobbed with hospital staff... if you go too late you'll get the 'busline' clientele... so time it to hit the sweet spot. Salt shakers are stolen on a regular basis so get ready to give your first born as collateral if you want to borrow one.
Review Source:I work at the hospitals and have gone to this location since its opening. I have seen its degradation over the years and tonight will be my last visit.
After waiting in line for 15 minutes (at 8pm) behind a guy "holla'in at a shawty" behind me, I give my order to miss attitude. I felt as though I was bothering the "workers". I quietly moved down the line trying to ensure my order was correct in between the loud "singing" of Aretha Franklin Jr as she chopped the chicken. Next thing I know, the guy in front of me and the salsa station worker start arguing about the amount of toppings he was given. Honestly, it was heated enough that I stepped in, a position I should not have to be placed, if it were civilized.
I agree the food is good, if they feel like making it. If you can't go to another location, prepare for a ghetto treat.
This is the worst Chipotle in Cincinnati. Â There is usually a slow-moving line about 12 people long. Â Also, twice they have tried to tell me that they were out of a particular ingredient. Â The black beans were thankfully procured at the last second (it would be a pretty sorry veggie burrito without them) and then just today they were just "out" of guacamole. Â Oh, it's only the best thing in the whole burrito. Â They had to "make some more." Â I feel like I should have gotten a discount, because free access to guac is the whole point of the veggie burrito!
Anyway, if it's between this Chipotle location or another one, do yourself a favor and go to any other location in the city. Â This one is maddening.
Worst Chipotle!
Everything about this place is below chipotle standards. The staff is slow and rude. The quality of food is very poor. For example, the rice is undercooked and so salty at times it is unbearable. Lastly, it is dirty.
I have ate at chipotle for years and am very aware of the difference between a good and a bad chipotle. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location.
Note: this use to be a great location as past reviewers have stated but the quality has greatly diminished over the past few months.
While I try to avoid fast food chains, I am a Chipotle fan. I find their food to be some of the most tasty "fast food" out there. I appreciate the healthier options (hint, ditch the 290 calories, 9g of fat flour tortilla and go for the burrito bowl) and their commitment to "Food With Integrity", a pledge to (whenever possible, hey at least they're honest) respect the farmers, animals, environment and ingredients. http://www.chipotle.com/… I also like that my order is made fresh and to MY specifications.
Cool, so if you decide to visit this location, it will certainly be PACKED at lunchtime. The University Hospital, UC, and Hoxworth employees will comprise the majority of the customers. Heck, if you're feeling sick, strike up a conversation with a doctor while you both wait, ha! As others have mentioned, the line will move fast, so even if the line is out the door, you should still be able to get your food with plenty of time to enjoy in your lunch "hour". The outdoor patio area is nice and you can watch the steady stream of MLK traffic. While I think about it, be very careful crossing this very busy street. People drive a little crazy in Clifton.
So, check this place out. They have no parking lot, so either locate street parking in the surrounding streets, or park in a hospital lot/garage.

They actually have tounge-in-cheek "How to Order Instructions" http://www.chipotle.com/…
*There are 7 Flavors of McIlhenny Company Tabasco Sauce, you will most likely only see the 3 main ones at a Chipotle: Pepper Sauce, Green Pepper, and my favorite Chipotle Pepper Sauce. You can place your order ahead of time (useful if ordering for your coworkers), although the last time I used it, you couldn't ask for things like: extra salsa, chicken, etc. They may have updated the app, not sure...

This particular Chipotle always has a line, but it usually moves pretty quickly, and the counter staff are always smiling...standard Chipotle fare (including margaritas...never tried them cause I'm usually picking up food on the way to work!). The parking lot is tiny and for 15 min only, but you can usually street park on the street on the right just after the actual parking lot.
Just found out about ordering Chipotle online (you pick a time to pick it up)...so I'm sure I'll be enjoying this location a lot more!
I have never tried a Chipotle before but I can sure say it taste pretty good. I've had authentic Mexican food where all the employees don't speak a speck of English and this fast food restaurant comes close to their authenticity. The price is reasonable too. I purchased the Barbacoa bowl which consists of spicy shredded beef. For 5.95 it came with rice, beef, corn, tomatoes, salsa and lettuce. They also pack it up to make it a large meal. The taste was incredible; it tasted like Mexican food from my neighborhood. The beef was marinated and prepared well. I like the optional Tabasco sauce that came with it too, you get to choose between the red and green sauce. This Chipotle in Cincinnati is large and can accommodate inside and outside seating. The selection of styles is small though.
