I recently had an event there and I had so many problems with the management staff. Â When I went to book, I feel like they were just looking for my deposit check. As soon as I coughed that up, I was ushered out of the building. Â There was no explaination of "how we do things here"; nothing. Â After I booked, I feared the room was going to be too small. I called and spoke with George who told me this was no problem and the room would be fine for our possible overflow. Â I recieved another phone call for our buffet selection. Â I asked if maybe we could do a variation of what was offered, and this was NOT recieved well. Â Then, two weeks before the event, I was told by Louie that this room would not be adequate. Â Then a nice woman named Cindy offered to do some changing around for us. Â She was the most helpful employee they I had contact with. Â Then a day or so before the event, I called to ask if we could change our napkin color. No one called me back. When I arrived, of course the color had not been changed and the only explanation I was given by Antonio, another manager, Â was that they don't check their messages. This is after he awkwardly scolded one of his waitstaff in front of me for offering to change the color for us.
The party turned out to be really great. Â The waitstaff there are so pleasant and helpful, and the food was actually very good. Â If you were planning on bookign a party, I would deal with Cindy. I suppose this is my only bit of advice. Â I have been to so many catering halls, where they are so helpful and catering to your needs. Â After spending thousands of dollars, you would expect things would have gone a bit more smoothly. Â I know a few people that held events at Galloping Hill Inn and did not run into these problems, so maybe it was just our bad luck. Â However, Â our company will try another place for our holiday party next year. Good Luck!
I had a border print picture to put up and they told me the stand for it was first cone first serve ?? Horrible back of the house. Booked a party for my sister's sweet sixteen. We were suppose to be charged half price for the kids that are under the age of 12. It was a signed contract. My father went to galloping hill inn to pay in full but forgot to mention the eight kids  out of 120 that was part of the party. I called the day after to make a correction. I asked not for a refund but for them to put the credit towards the bill for the beverage which we paid 5 dollar per pitcher for soda. When I came upstairs i had to wait about 40 minutes before I was helped. Then the woman Michelle told me that there was no way someone would agree to that. (Her boss was sitting down listening to us ) and that she would never agree to such thing and because she was the only woman that works there. So I respond with 'I must of been talking to a crazy person' I know it was her and she didn't want  to get in trouble with her boss. Let me tell you something about Filipino families we throw parties like no ones business and I have a big family and I will make sure no one I know will ever go there ever again. oh the one star I would give is to the older waiter that was very polite and tried to help me.
