Golden House Restaurant & Pancake House

I was honestly surprised by this place. I went to a Pentatonix concert at the Riviera last Saturday and we were a bit early, so we went here. They serve breakfast all day and it was great. Don't be turned off by the dated decor, the food was still good. We got dinner (breakfast for dinner, really) for $20 including tip. That's probably the cheapest dinner ever in the city. And it was very quick. We ordered and it was probably out within 5 to 10 minutes. Good service and good food.

Great place to grab a cheap bite to eat. I usually stick to breakfast food, but I've gone with others that have gotten sandwiches and even dinner items and have been satisfied. Nice, attentive staff. The food isn't gourmet, but what do you expect for a dive diner? However, their coffee is probably the best I've ever had (shocking, I know).

Definite neighborhood dive diner that I go to regularly for a good, no frills weekend breakfast. Cheap, large portions. Not a frilly brunch destination but a functional hole-in-the-wall breakfast at is best.
