Terrible. Â It was our first time ordering for delivery. Â After an hour of waiting for the food, we called to check on it and the employee told us three orders went out for delivery and no one had received theirs yet. Â An hour later we called back and we were told that the driver tried calling us but no one answered. Â No calls and no doorbell. Â The lady on the phone kept insisting that we were called but there's no way. Â She didn't even try to remedy the situation. Â We will never order from them again.
Review Source:I refuse to order from this place anymore. Â The service is off the charts terrible. Â I had been a long time loyal customer. I ordered delivery for myself and my kids three times a week. Â My order was wrong 50% of the time, but we still kept ordering because we love Jimmy's. Â However, my last order never arrived. Â I called them several times asking where it was and the "so called manager" kept telling me the driver was out. Â After 1.5 hours I called back (my third call) and she told me that she forgot to place the order. Â I asked why she did not call me, and she had no answer. Â I sent corporate an email and they said the owner of the store was going to call me, but never did. Â This location is run so poorly and the employees are extremely rude and incompetent. Â I eat less Jimmy Johns now, but I have no regrets, at least my delivery's are correct now.
Review Source:So much for freaky fast delivery. Ordered my sandwiches an hour and fifteen minutes ago and still haven't gotten them. I called about 20 minutes ago to check on the status of my order and was put on hold for 10 minutes, at which point I hung up and called back. They weren't very apologetic and told me it would be on its way very soon. Still no sandwiches.
Review Source:Used to go here quite a bit, but I think it's about time I stop. The store is usually empty at lunch time, but it could be because of their bad reputation. The lettuce is usually brown and old. Also, if you say no to a receipt, they are likely to include a nice tip for themselves. Sounds like credit card fraud right there.
Don't get scammed and then have a terrible lunch to follow. Go anywhere but here.
Definitely not freaking out about how fast they are. I tried ordering delivery from this location twice and never will again.
Both times it took 50+ minutes for delivery. Both times I called and got the "uh, they delivery guy just left with your order" BS. Listen, I live at Belmont and Ashland (which is two blocks away) and could easily have walked down there, ordered my food and walked back in that amount of time, had I not been occupied. It was obvious from the how soaked the bread was with the toppings that the sandwiches were made and then sat for a long time before leaving the store.
Both times, THEY DIDN'T PUT SPROUTS ON THE TURKEY TOM. How do you mess up your own sandwich? TWICE?!
And when I ordered EASY dressing on the Italian via the online form, they literally dumped enough oil and vinegar on it that the bag was dripping when they (eventually) delivered it.
I've eaten at other JJs locations and it's been great. But this is just ridiculous. Repetitive cases of poor service and messed up orders is clearly a case of poor management/staff that does not their work seriously.
Avoid ordering delivery from this location at all costs.
I go to a lot of Jimmy Johns, but this has to be the worst customer service. Thankfully, the sandwiches came out fine.
After 45 minutes of waiting for my order, I called them and they said my credit card was denied (I'm not sure why they didn't call and leave a voice mail). They ended up just getting my numbers wrong. And when they finally showed up, they could not figure out how to get to the door. Granted, its a little confusing because it is an office. But they didn't listen to ANY of my instructions and was SO rude.
I will be avoiding this location.
Sad that this has to be my first review, but my experience with this Jimmy John's will have me going to Potbelly's for a while. (I don't know why I didn't walk there to begin with.) I placed an order for delivery... and it took an hour an 45 minutes to get my sandwich (long enough to go into a HUNGER RAGE!!!)... as though they made it when I called. I ordered extra onions and there were hardly any on the sandwich...
Jimmy Johns, you broke my heart.
I love Jimmy John's and this used to be my go to location, however, in the last few months my opinion has changed. Â The delivery is slow. Â The last few times it has taken over 45 minutes to get a single sandwich when they tell you it will be delivered with in 20 minutes. Â And you'd think it'd be hard to mess up a Jimmy John's sandwich, but this place manages to do just that. Â The bread has been stale and hard lately and the sandwiches are messy. Â I will be ordering from a different location from now on.
Review Source:Fastest delivery service I have had in the city...consistently. Â I order delivery from here probably 2-3 times a month and everything has always been correct on my order, and probably here within 25 minutes. Â They have no delivery fee and no order minimum which is nice if you're eating solo and are too lazy to go out and grab something. Â The only downside about Jimmy Johns is that they don't offer a wider menu selection. Â Especially in terms of sides...sometimes a sandwich just isn't enough and a pickle, cookie, and bag of chips aren't great options for sides. Â Salads, soups, cold side salads, etc would be nice. Â You can also order online which makes things really easy.
Review Source:Dining in or carrying out, this Jimmy John's is alright. The employees are really nice and quick. However, this Jimmy John's has some of the slowest delivery I've ever experienced. I live three blocks away and the food has never arrived in under 45 minutes. Every time I ordered from here I subsequently wondered why I did. They seldom got my order (extra tomatoes and a little dijon, please) right and in the amount of time it took to arrive I could have walked to the shop, ate my sub, and returned home. I've only ordered from here about 10 times, and I think I've almost learned my lesson.
