I'm so disgusted by the customer service @ this location I've called other locations to see if I could get them to deliver... On EVERY order placed they have gotten it  wrong... After complaining to the manager he claimed he would compensate it on our next order... Surprise surprise when it comes time to make the it right they don't come thru....  I guess next time we will have SUBWAY!!!
Review Source:It was a dark and stormy night... otherwise known as Chicago winter... These are the standard- nights when it it is dark outside, it's cold and I don't want to subject a deliveryman to that anymore than I want to go out.
Even greasy burgers aren't enough to motivate me to slip and slide along the icy sidewalk!
There are the weekends where I'd rather buy a sandwich than put aside the necessary chores and household tasks to make lunch.
There are plenty more upscale places to dine, to takeout... Sometimes you are a lazy bum after being too busy, just want easy and fast without grease. Jimmy johns is bland even with salt and vinegar potato chips on the side. It is uninspired... but it is warp-speed fast, you know exactly what you are going to get and you can get it without grease.
I like this Jimmy Johns a lot. The delivery people are usually really nice and really speedy. Only once have they taken more than 10 minutes (my work is a 5 minute walk away ).
I'll take off a star because they tend to fuck up every once in a while and put an assload of lettuce, add tomatoes or give me stale bread. While the bread was only stale once! They also saran wrap my drinks a little TOO much. It takes a few minutes to get that shit off my drinks. Oh well.
As long as they are so close, I'll keep ordering.
Fast 'n good. Â Jimmy John's is great if you're looking for a tasty sandwich. Â Something you need to keep in mind is that this place is merely a sandwich shop, aka a better version of Subway. Â So if you're looking from something that will blow your mind, this isn't it. Â But this is a great place you can get a great tasting sandwich, chips, and drink for under $10. Â All of the ingredients are fresh and high quality, and the service here is fast, fun, and friendly.

They lose a star because they tend to forget to put a straw in my bag a lot and over wrap my drink with saran wrap. Â Womp Womp Womp.
I love the kids that work at this Jimmy Johns - they are hilarious! Â So it's too bad the quality of the food here just isn't that great. Â I always get the #2 (roast beef) and the meat here always tastes a little funky - maybe because I tend to go later in the day? Â Not sure. Â but other locations seem to have no problems. Â However, my biggest annoyance is the bread! Â It's soooo hard here. Â I think they overbake their bread by a few minutes. Â I LOVE carbs and i LOVE jimmy johns' bread. Â Just not at this location :(
Review Source:I had such a bad experience tonight that i was compelled to create a yelp account and yelp about how poor the service was at this location. clearly the chipper attitude ends early on thursday evenings. i LOVE jimmy john's and most always receive great service from this location, but tonight, the sandwich artist who made my sandwich, plopped it down onto the counter and carried on with her conversation. i politely asked for a bag to hold my sandwich and chips and rather than hand it to me, she plopped this down near the registers (i was standing near the sandwich pickup). clearly, her conversation was so important, it was worth being rude and losing a regular customer. so disappointing for such a prime location. i'll drive the extra 2 miles to go to the lawrence location.
Review Source:There is nothing unique about the food at this Jimmy John's - it's as good as any other Jimmy John's that you would eat at.
What makes this Jimmy John's supernatural is the speed at which they deliver my food. Never in my life have I hit submit on an online order and then be surprised when the deliveryman shows up fifteen minutes after I clicked submit!
Just to make sure it wasn't a fluke, I tried it again and to no surprise they were there in fifteen minutes flat once again! One thing though, do not try to order on Sundays right at 11:00am when they open because I tried that after a hungry hangover night and was dying for some food. Little did I know it would take me 1.5 hrs to get food since they had no driver! I don't mind this little lesson, because I can expect them to deliver my eats in 15 minutes flat.
I fly by here semi-regularly to pick up a sandwich on my way to work. Â
They are just as quick as advertised, and friendly too. Â Unfortunately though, they either have a problem with accuracy, or with understanding what "everything" or "all" means. Â
Every time, I order a #6 minus the mayo, plus all the freebies. Â And every time, I'm either missing the onions or missing the mustard or they have added the mayo. Â And that makes me want to rate them a 2.5 (but rounding up, because my half stars are only in my head).
This time last year the shop was always full of students, aged high school to college. Â Even during dinner times, you could find more than a handful of customers. Â Today there are hardly as many people, Jimmy John's has been known for having highly acceptable pricing on their sandwiches. Â Due to our current economy that sub which was once $3.49, then $4.. is now $5.75!! Chicago tax on top of that, just makes you sick. Â While this sub shop is so convenient to me, I don't even want to go back. Â If I really need Jimmy John's I may just hit a suburban location to skip the tax. Â But, I hear the rate increase has affected all locations. Â
Other than the price increase, I have no other complaints. Â Well, on weeknights the college kids that work there play their own music selection. Â Which is good, it connects with the customer base. Â But there are times for Electro, it's not good at all times. Â I don't think it promotes eating.
