This was my first time here, but I hear it is quite popular and the smart thing to do would be to book in a private room in advance. This place is great to hang out with friends who you are comfortable with to wax nostalgic and belt out your favorite tunes. In a very unassuming store front next to Hub's in Budlong Woods area.
Don't be fooled, there are many a room for would be crooners, a bar for wetting your whistle, and actual food. Our party ordered some platter with wings, egg rolls, and dumplings.
This place has a plethora of song choices in English, Korean, and Filipino! What more can you ask for? Oh yeah you can even change backgrounds on the video to nature scenes, anime characters a la Dance Dance Revolution, or even 'adult themes'. That last one is no joke. Our party stumbled on that one and made for hysterical renditions of 'To Dream the Impossible Dream' from Man of La Mancha (yes, a showtune pic) while watching scantily clad ladies pour honey on each other. That made for an epic night. That  and being able to pick '**** in a Box' or 'I'm on a Boat' and sing at the top of your lungs. :)
I've only been there twice... and if it weren't for the fact that I live in the suburbs so its a little bit farther away... I'd be there ALL the time. Just a heads up though, making a reservation is a very good idea if you are going on a weekend evening!
SONGS: Awesome selection in English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and more! Everything from oldies to a bit newer. They might not have super super new top 40 songs but they seem to have everything else!
ATMOSPHERE: Everything is kept tidy, clean, and in very good condition! I love how there is a flat screen TV on EVERY single wall of each room so you can see lyrics straight ahead of you no matter where you are sitting! Very convenient! They provide tambourines to jam with in each room as well. One thing I hate about karaoke places is how they always tend to get so hot and stuff inside, but this is not a problem at Lincoln Karaoke! They have great ventilation and keep the temperatures very low so you can get nice and red and drunk without sweating up a storm.
SERVICE: Oh man are they fast on tidying dirty/used drink cups in all the rooms! It seems like if you timed it, there is not a single dirty empty glass on the table for more than 5 minutes at any given moment. They quickly duck in and out of each room to make sure you have room for more drinks ;] Â I also love the fact that they give out free water bottles as you leave.
BAR/DRINKS: They have more than one bar in the building. Drink prices are more than reasonable! Awesome drink specials too! Our group's favorite special was buy 2 pitchers of beer get a basket of bacon for free! DAVE AND SANDY are seriously the best! We've had them serve us the last two times we were there and we would go out of  our way to go to the further bar that they were at just to get drinks from them because they were so fun and friendly.
OVERALL: I CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK! The only bad thing I can think of about this place is they need a bigger bathroom (at least for the women's room).
Would I ever think I could have fun at a private karaoke party? No. Did I? Yes, and then some.
This is a great place for a party. I would never sing karaoke at a typically public karaoke venue--I am not a great singer, although I enjoy singing. In the privacy of your party's room at Lincoln Karaoke, you can sing your heart out without fear of judgment. You can beat the light-up tambourine until your hand is bruised. You can laugh and have a great time. What a great way to get together with friends in an outside-of-the-box kind of way.
Lincoln Karaoke staff were very helpful in showing us how to work the equipment and orienting us to their system. The variety of songs available was great--it was rare that a song someone wanted to sing was not on their list. We had a reservation for a medium sized room for a weekend, and based on the volume, I would recommend reserving ahead of time.
One problem we encountered was that upon arriving, members of our party had a hard time finding where we were. It looks small from the street but is really a labyrinth once you get inside. Other than that, it was a really fun and comfortable experience and one that I plan to repeat when another celebratory occasion comes along!
