I've eaten here several times. I like it. Some dishes are the spiciest I've eaten anywhere. Frankly, the hottest food I've eaten in Mexico was a bit less hot than one dish I had here. A family member found all the dishes too spicy, even on "low heat", but I loved them. I've had consistently good quality here and the service has always been fine.

Swami, the owner of Mayura, is probably one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. It seems like everyone in Cincinnati claims to know Swami. Be sure to say hi to him when visiting this restaurant.

Mayura is my favorite Indian restaurant in the city. It has such a relaxing atmosphere and is tucked away from the busier shopping district down the street. The location is beautiful. They have some nice stained glass and the place is decorated to the nines! Most of the tables in the dining room are on the south side of the building and face the big windows. It's not much of a view as the Ohio EPA is right next door, but on a nice night it can be an enjoyable place to sit.

Their menu is delicious. My favorite dish is their Chicken Tikka Masala. They serve a lunch buffet on weekdays from 11:30 - 2pm. I always find it difficult to get my money's worth as I get stuffed with Indian food so quickly!
