The Moerlein Lager House

Great place to gather if you have alot of people in your party.  Wide open with a great view of the Roebling bridge.  They offer a variety of Morelein brews, hence the name.  The burgers are above average and I suggest the BBQ burger with sweet potato chips.

Really enjoy this place.  Great atmosphere, nice views, great, knowledgeable service, good food and really a decent price.  Great place to take people from out of town to show off some of the best cincy has to offer.

4 stars because the sunset view is gorgeous and because there is a delicious tofu entree on the menu.

I docked one star because I think Moerlein should take reservations or turn more of the free seating area into seats where the host(ess) can seat you. Why? Because on Friday and Saturday nights the wait can be up to 4 hours for a table and the food is good but it's not THAT good. Nowhere close. Great beer selection though, and the pretzel appetizer is good. It would be great if they swapped out the cheap and liquidy nacho cheese sauce with something a bit more farm to table.

Note: My boyfriend says don't order the fish and chips. It's too greasy, all batter, and gave him a wicked bad belly ache. He recommends the fish tacos as a swimming alternative.
