Hey Sorry Silverglade and Sons, but I'm going to have to demote you one star for your customer service. There are only two people who work here (two women, both blondes, one with long hair and the other with short hair) who I have had continuously pleasant exchanges with. Even in the throes of their busiest, craziest  lunch hours, these two ladies manage to keep smiles on their faces and treat everyone (no matter how rude) with respect. The other staff, not so much. When I politely inquired about the soup situation, I was literally growled at by the man behind the register. Another time a staff rolled eyes at me when I asked if I could order at the espresso bar -- and it was in the morning AND I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER! I get that it can get busy, I get that people can be annoying - but maybe you shouldn't be in the food service industry if you can't handle that because half of how I base my experience at any restaurant is about how I'm treated.
Props to the two women, though. They are the saving grace of this places customer service and the reason I will continue to come back, keeping my fingers crossed each time that I don't have to interact with any other staff aside from them.
I was really disappointed when I stopped in this week. Â I ordered one of the sandwiches, but asked them to omit the cheese. Â He told me that they couldn't do that, because the sandwiches are all "premade." Â WTF? Â That's the whole point of going to a deli and getting a sandwich - they are supposed to be made to order. Â Guess not here! Â
After that, I decided to get a salad, and walked over there but was informed by the staff that the salads were "closed" - even though I could see all the salad fixings sitting there. Â I don't think I will be back anytime soon. Â I would up going elsewhere for my lunch.
