Creative combinations, good flavor blends. I really like the Double Dare Dog but they have lots of options. Very filling for just $5. The Mac & Cheese and other sides are  good, too, The brownies are really rich, huge and just a buck. Service is fast, food is real good and not expesive, the place looks cool - the TV's a nice touch. One of my favorite places for lunch.
Review Source:A great downtown lunch spot. They have a lot of creative combinations and - best of all - you can substitute a vegetarian dog for no extra charge. (I've been to places that charged up to a dollar more for a veggie dog. Highway robbery!) I had the Tsunami, an Asian-inspired dog with sriracha, cream cheese and fried chow mein noodles. Yum. Looking forward to seeing them grow; a few more dog ideas and opening up on the weekends (I'm not usually around downtown for lunch on weekdays) would be great!
Review Source:MR says ... the KRAKEN is just ok.
MRS says ... relatively new place to grab a bite. "The GOOD DOG is dedicated to bringing you quality gourmet hot dogs at a reasonable price." - quote from their menu.
i had the Philly. it was good. kinda alright. i like chicago dog style hot dogs similar to the ones served at senate restaurant. this one uses a sourdough/french type bread, generous toppings and the natural casing hot dogs are all in one chewy and tender. i hope for this place to thrive. once a while i have hot dogs cravings and it's good to have one nearby.
