The Squirrel

Okay, the sweet tea was sour and the tuna/pasta plate had way too much pepper. My only regret is I got this order To-Go, or I would have sent it back. In summary, the prices are too high for what you get, but the employees are friendly, and the place appears clean.

In addition to traditional sandwiches and salads, The Squirrel just recently began serving up Empress Chili, which claims to be "Cincinnati's Famous Original Chili" (since 1922). I won't go into an in-depth comparison with Skyline Chili, but suffice it to say that I enjoyed the chili and it's definitely worth a visit if you haven't tried it.

They offer sit-down dining or you can order to-go at a separate counter. Very good price and delicious food. I look forward to returning.
