FB's is a pretty cool place to go downtown. It's right in the midst of casual, trendy, and upper-class. Inside is loungey and dark, with a decent sized bar and lots of couches/places to sit and chill. They usually have a DJ playing at night, which is kind of in a weird spot in my opinion, but I suppose it works since it's more of a lounge than a club.

There's really not a lot to say about the place except it's a nice spot to bring someone that's maybe from out of town or someone that doesn't go out  a lot, but wants to keep it classy yet semi low-key for a night. If you've seen pictures on FB of people sitting on a big yellow leather sofa, this is the place.

Anytime I've been in there they have something going on (liquor reps giving tastings, free champagne for ladies, etc). I've never had their food, so I can't speak on behalf of it, but anything I've seen/heard definitely seemed good enough to try. I'll have to check them out during the day and post a food update. Oh and they usually have cool signature drinks, if you dig that kind of stuff.

Two qualifications on my giving it 4 starts.  I was there on Thursday which is Karaoke night and the other I was was a big group of people.
I got there early to have some food. The food there is very good.  I had the Daiblo flatbread which is very spicy, but good.  It is upscale bar food, but still reasonably priced.
We were told Karaoke could start anywhere between 9-10.  That night it did not start until 10:30 which is a little late for a Thursday night.  Not sure why it started so late, seemed like the DJ was socializing a lot.
I cannot sing, so I didn't, but it is a good place for Karaoke, the upstairs is comfortable, nice chairs and sofas.  The is a really nice crowd too.  No one heckled or made any comments if a singer was not great. Although all singers were pretty decent and some were really good.
I think on the weekends later at night it gets a little clubby, so I doubt I would go then, but if you want a comfy quiet place for a happy hour with good food, it will be on my list.

Where to start... Overall, my group of friends and I had a terrible experience. We decided to go to FBs for New Years Eve and reserved tickets. They were $25 a person, which isn't bad for downtown, and we were supposed to get a cool mask, appetizers, and champagne toast. The mask was small and cheap, probably cost 5 cents per mask, there were NO appetizers being passed around. We only saw a tray of club crackers... NO THANKS! and the bartenders were extremely slow with the champagne toast. We had to tell them we needed it because the countdown to midnight had already started.

Also, when we arrived, the bouncer didn't believe we had a pre-paid ticket. He said "oh this is just our advertisement"... We had to convince him it was our pre-paid ticket. When we were making our reservations, 3 different people responded to our phone calls (no organization within this bar) and they all had different prices for tables... one tried to charge $600 for a table, and the next phone call said $1000 for a table! Sorry but that's outrageous.

The bartenders in the basement didn't know how to mix a majority of the drinks we ordered and asked us for the recipes. The drinks were overpriced and tasted bad.

The only redeeming factor was the DJs. They played decent music.

This bar is way too unorganized. I definitely won't be going back anytime soon.
