Had a blast coming here. Drinks were dumb cheap & moderately strong.
Atmosphere nice. The music was not so hot but hey, great establishment nonetheless.

Mozaik Lounge is another stop on our Euro-style nights out. It's got modern lighting, creative drinks, beautifully plated food and comfy seating with a modern style dance floor. I've been there in the afternoon for gatherings, when the weather was nice. The can open the entire front for air. The service was helpful, food tasty and the atmosphere quiet and clean.

Do not expect the same atmosphere after midnight.

The Euro-techno beat is pounding, the lights are rotating, and the attendant in the bathroom can barely keep up with her duties. There are lines to get in the door. The women seem to have no problem exposing skin and the choice of attire has a distinct cultural flair.

Wonderful atmosphere! Trendy place with a vibe and crowd! You can start your night out here with a great kick-off or finish the night with a blast. Terrific place to stay all night as well!

Really almost worthy of 5 stars, had it been a little later in the eveing and maybe at least one other person there other than the lonely bartender.

She was awesome, very nice, cool and funky, fit right into the mood of the place.

Based on the other reviews at it being 6pm on a wednesday I wasn't expecting it to be packed, but they could of at least dimmed the lights.

Being in a nightclub with the lights on is kind of like waking up the next day...
facing the bright lights and harsh reality of the real world, not what you want to see BEFORE the morning after....

That being said we chose a table huddled in the back corner trying to get in some kind of club type mood, which kinda worked....

Happy hour here is AWESOME, the entire tapas menu is half off and with that we ordered most of it!

From the asparagus ($2.50!!!!) fresh, crunchy and my favorite part of the meal, to the egg rolls (8 for $3!!!) with a super yummy sweet chili sauce, a mozaik salad, also great, original flatbread (my least fav, it was a bit soggy), coconut shrimp (sweet, yummy and tons of fresh coconut), chicken tender basket (real big pieces of chicken breat, nicely fried), the mozaik fries (loaded with bacon and cheese and with that a meal on its own) and all that for $30 including the tip!

I don't like that they include 20% gratutity on the bill, the bartender deserved it and was great, but it should really be upto you how much to tip.

Very innovative menu, great choices, I love when bars have an upscale menu and really try to differentiate themselves from others, it pays off in my book!

As for the decor, based off the other reviews I was really expecting more.
It's not fancy or very big at Mozaik, there was no need to get as dressed up as I did, I don't know how the other clubs look in Columbus, but if this is as nice as it gets I'm not missing out on much.

Still we had a ncie eveing filled with very good food and that's what matters, I can recommend it for the daily happy hour from 5-8 pm anytime!

I love how the place looks, it looks so trendy. The atmosphere is nice and I like how there's a lot of people I know. But what makes it lose a couple stars is that it's always WAY OVERCROWDED where you can barely move for such a tiny place. The dance floor is too small too. Music is okay but most times what they play I can't really get into dancing.

When this place first opened, I was hell bent on going but for some reason, could not for the life of me convince anyone else to go with me. They obviously knew something I didn't. Well months later luck would have it that my roommate and her college girlfriends were in town and happened to be here. I was meeting up with them and was either sober or for the most part sober. That was the first mistake. Being sober. And when I speak of sobriety, I'm not just talking alcohol. You need to be ON something to make this place even near tolerable. From the outside you think the lights and decor would be fun, but once you step inside you're crying for your Bar Louie safe haven. Thankfully, the gals had had their fill, were hammered and ready to go on to a different bar within 10 minutes of my arrival. I should also note, I had a male friend enter with me but he was DENIED based on his attire. I will admit he wasn't dressed that nice but was dressed in typical Park St./former frat bro uniform. I'm honestly surprised this place is still around and able to pay its rent.

If it is empty, don't let that scare you! The food is good with good portions! Complete surprise!

Pretty upscale bar with very nice decor. Dress code is pretty loose, just don't look like a ragamuffin and you should be ok. The seating is very nice with little loungey booths/lofts scattered around. The bar is placed in the center and is a full circle. The staff is pretty laid back, the bar tender was often walking around or on his phone. I really liked the lighting in this place, lots of colors all over the place. There wasn't a whole lot of room for dancing but im comparing this to Mynt since they are similar. As for parking, good luck finding a spot on the street, but luckily there is a garage for only $5. Not my cup of tea, but its very nice.

Not exactly the type of place i would like to go to on the weekends but it wasn't bad. Very classy looking with lots of lights and a decent dance floor(which no one was using when i was there) , lots of seating(comfy seating at that)

I only had one drink but it was good, decently priced and stiff. Bartender was very nice and made drinks quickly, Although he was all over the place, it was only a small group there and still seemed to keep a close look over the bar when he was away.

All in all a pretty okay place, not many people but then again it was a Thursday night. Not my type of place for a typical weekend and I might have felt a little under dressed had there been more people there.

The website says "No Cover," but there was a $5 cover when I came to the bar after 10:00pm. One of the bartenders looked at me like a maniac for asking for his attention away from his iPhone to take my drink order, and then finally stopped texting (or maybe looking up a mixed drink recipe?) to take my order. That was off-putting.

The dress code says business casual, but I guess that goes out the window during a festival weekend. Nearly all of the women were dressed nicely in dresses and whatnot, but then more than 70% of the men were wearing jeans and screenprinted t-shirts.

The price of the drinks seemed expensive, but I suppose that is the price of the Short North and/or Arena District. There is nothing about this place that would make me want to go here again (in terms of Decor).

Music? The DJ sounded like he didn't read the audience's vibe at all and just played a CD burnt from iTunes Genius playlist for NOW35. Why does everyone keep playing tunes from the 80s and 90s that no one wants to hear? This only happens in Ohio, and I am struggling to say that Ohioans can dance and party with the best of them, but seriously, I cannot recall ever hearing a  song from the 90s about booties play randomly in a pop music dance bar in Hollywood. Maybe I'm too old, because these songs aren't "cool vintage" to me--they're just played out, and I didn't really want to dance to them when I was in middle school either.

Maybe I am just more into live music lounges, not sure.

    Food: 3
    Decor: 3
    Service: 3

We showed up with a party of 5 around 10pm. Garage parking after 9pm, contrary to what I thought, was $5 instead of $3.

Walking in, I was first surprised by the size of the place. From looking at pictures on their website, I expected this place to be at least twice as big as it actually was. There was also only about a dozen people there, so the place was quite empty. They were also blasting the music on the dance floor, which was just a few feet from where we sat.

We ordered 5-6 dishes from the kitchen, most of which ended up being okay. Drinks were about $7-9 each. We stayed until nearly 1pm, but the crowd hadn't gotten much better (maybe about 2-3 dozen people there, with a handful of people dancing), so we decided to head on out and go to Callahan's instead.

I like this place because it reminds me of the lounges back home. I'd been mostly disappointed with Ohio's capital city an it's lack of ambiance, but this bit is different... Contemporary design, places to sit, a place to dance, easily accessible bar, and a relaxing low blue lighting throughout.

The spot seems pretty diverse as well, which makes me happy. I like to see folks of different ethnic backgrounds capable of mingling, instead of hitting an old, played out bar where the groups keep to themselves.

    Me likey.

I like this place, I really do. Very comfy seating arrangement, pretty mood lighting, and just all-around gorgeous interior decor. The bartenders are kinda distant at first, but warm up as the night goes on. Try a grape martini or 4 or 5. I have yet to try the food, but the $7 filet special on Mondays sounds pretty intriguing. I noticed a couple people stopping in specifically for this deal, and then high-tailing it out of the place, so it must be pretty good.

A helpful tip that I can offer is not to go in this place early. And by early, I mean any time before 9:00 or 10:00. It is beyond dead for the standard happy hour timeframe. I have been the only person in here the past 2 times I've visited during the 5:00 - 6:00 block. I won't make that mistake again. Also, don't park in the North Market lot, as tempting as it might be. Their rates are outrageous without validation from inside the North Market, and it will probably be closed by the time you're done drinking and ready to leave.

All in all, you will feel pretty cool when you're in here - beautiful interior, strong drinks, comfy seating, good music, clean/spiffy bathrooms. What more do you need?

I had my birthday party here recenty, which  was the first time I'd ever been inside Mozaik, but it came highly recommended from an event planner friend. The decor and ambiance really are something to see - it's more like a San Francisco lounge than an Arena District bar, with bright lights and comfy couches all around.

They have a pretty terrific selection of cocktails and wine and some great specials - $7 Filets on Mondays and half-price bottles of wine and tapas on Tuesdays among them.

The few times I've been here or walked past it's NEVER been crowded - I had my party there on a Tuesday and, with the exception of my guests, there was NO ONE else there until after 9.

Oh, and since this is such a pain in the butt for downtown bars - there is a garage located right next door to Mozaik, and with validation it's only $3 to park! But you have to tell them when you come in that you're going to Mozaik, or else they'll make you pay event parking ($8-$10, yuck)
