I was okay with my Chicken Shwerma and Chicken Kabob combo. Although the Shwerma was not cut thinly and in the usual long piece form, it did have good flavoring. The Kabob was not on a skewer and had no vegetables? But my meet had good flavor to it too.
I did not like my apple parfait. It was VERY bland. My tea tasted great though!
The food here is pretty good! Â I didn't expect a whole lot when I walked in and even when I'd placed my order. Â But it started with a tasty lentil soup (that came free) and continued with a delicious hummus, freshly made pita bread, and a decent shawarma. Â The size of the meat in the shawarma was bigger than the shaved-meat size I'm used to - these pieces looked like they belonged in a stir-fry. Â But it was tasty enough and the decor was pleasant.
I was also pleased to see that, though they had a big TV, it was not turned on and blaring incessantly, as I've seen at other similar places.
I am so excited to have this place in walking distance to my house! Not only does it serve fantastic Middle Eastern food, it also has regular American standards as well. I could eat their shawarma every day, but it's nice to be able to get a hamburger or hot dog too. I've tried a bunch of different soups and couldn't pick a favorite because they're all really good! The portions are huge and a good value for the money. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. A big difference from CV's. Nice addition to the neighborhood!
