Sushi Para D

Sushi Para is that place to go when you feel ravenous.The quality is mediocre at best, but it is endless. Also, every roll began to break apart at first touch. Service was meh, but kind of expected. Sushi Para D also does not carry wine buckets (or maybe our server didn't want to go to get it) so don't expect to keep those wines chilled! Sushi Para serves it's purpose- cheap, unlimited sushi, and byob! I wouldn't recommend it for the sushi snobs out there, but for the craving loads of sushi types.

I went here with a big group for a friend's birthday. There were 11 of us and my friend made a reservation for us for 7pm on a Friday night. We were seated at a smaller table because a couple people were running late. They showed up 10 min late, and the staff was not happy about moving is to the table that was set up for us in the first place. We had to ask 3 or 4 times before they refilled or water pitcher in the middle of fdinner, and they still only brought us one that was mostly ice. We finally got out of the at 9:30pm after waiting 15 minutes for our check. We left at the same time as a similar sized group who arrived 30 minutes after us. The food was decent though, and the portions were large.

If I could give negative or no stars I would.  DO NOT go here.

We've frequented sushi para II many times and thought this would be at the same level of quality.  WRONG.

I've actually been here a few times and it has gotten progressively worse. The first time the rolls weren't HORRIBLE and they had a lot of appetizer options for friends who don't really like sushi, plus byob we decided to keep it as a reserve.

The last time we came in our rolls were NASTY. So gross we knew we couldn't finish them.  We only ordered 4 rolls and two appetizers.  I don't remember which rolls we got, but the only one digestible was the spicy tuna.  The rolls that had salmon tasted like they had canned salmon. SO gross.  We complained to our waitress that that particular roll was nasty and we didn't want to eat it OR pay for it.  In the time we were taking to explain how gross the roll was, all of the other rolls became room temperature and started tasting gross as well.  At that point they even started smelling weird.  I couldn't eat there any more and wanted to only pay for our two appetizers and the spicy tuna roll.  They wouldn't let us.

I had to explain to the waitress, the hostess, THEN the manager.  At that point I was pissed.   It's not like we were trying to rip them off, we continually told the waitress how gross the rolls were as we were eating them.  The fish was NOT fresh.  The manager kept trying to lie and say they got fresh fish in every day.  YEAH RIGHT! Lies.  We live in the area and see how empty it is every night.  There's no way they have enough business to even have fresh fish every night.

My husband was fed up and just wanted to pay and leave so we ended up having to pay for the whole amount plus tip.  I was so mad, so is he.  Never going there again.
