I just had the General Tso's Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and the Chicken Fried Rice. Â It was pretty bland, and the mongolian beef didn't have much oomph. It was just a brownish looking batch of not-so-great beef. Additionally, the fried rice was missing the vegetables I'm used to seeing in fried rice. There were a few little peas in my forkfuls of rice. I will not be a return customer.
Review Source:Went for the lunch special and thought I was getting a good deal for two entrees and rice for 6 bucks. They only had fried rice, orange chicken, beef something or other and chicken broccoli. I asked about the other items from the lunch menu and was told that's all they had.
I picked the rice with orange chicken and the beef something or other. The rice was flavorless and was saved by 4 packets of soy sauce, the orange chicken was cold and the beef dish had about 5 pieces of beef but at least it was hot.
I'm giving this place 1 star just for the price. The food is a big fat goose egg, which would have probably, been tastier than what I ate here.
I really like this place, the lunch ready to go setup is great, several dishes ready to go. Im on the move and dont like waiting so for me this is a great stop. Ill purposely go out of my way for their lunch menu.
The food is really good too, Â and unlike many other chinese places, theyre not snobbish, they seem to be cordial to everyone.
This is a little resturant with BIG RENT. Their location is in the high rent district and yet their food is reasonably priced.
I say give them a try, you just might make them your chinese take out place
