Corner Bakery Cafe

What I appreciate most about this place is that the calories are listed on the menu board.   Friendly service too.  It would be nice if they had a stamp card like nearby places so if you buy 10 meals you get 1 free or something similar.   The food is fresh and consistent.

For a chain sandwich shop/bakery, this is about as good as you're going to get. We split one of their turkey sandwiches, and it was excellent, as was my banana/strawberry smoothy. Since we arrived during the lunch rush it was crowded, but the service was still fairly fast, and the staff was very friendly.

Worst Corner Bakery ever!!!  I used to be a regular, but often the order was wrong, service very slow.  The worst is the counter service.  I stopped going there after I walked up to the counter one day, the only customer there, with three workers behind the counter, all of whom ignored me.  When I said "May I order?", they continued to ignore me for another minute, obviously deliberately.  Finally one walked up "What do you want?", took my order, barely civil.  I waited for it to come out, and then asked for the manager, saying never again.  

Now over a year later I made the mistake of going back.  The exact same thing!  Four people behind the counter this time, all pretending I wasn't there.  When I spoke to one of them, she said, "You have to order down there", indicating the other end of the counter, where a group of three more workers stood chatting with a customer (the only other customer there).  When I started toward them a different worker (one of the four, total present seven!) stepped up, "What do you want?" (What a nice greeting!), took my order with zero courtesy.  I got my order, left, and when I opened it up, the order was wrong!  Shame on me!
