Diamond Pub & Billiards

This is a GEM of a highland venue!

My first visit to this sports bar was for their Halloween concert. I thought I was just attending a music hall style venue, but Diamonds turned out to be a "cut" above. For concerts, you park near the back, go up some stairs, and enter into a nice lounge area with a private bar. Attached is a large room with a loft ceiling perfect for the "clarity" of musical acoustics.

You see a sparkling light and walk through a small door to arrive into the main billiards sports bar. The front entrance will lead you directly to this area, with the back room being attached for bands. Diamonds bar has large separate rooms for groups, playing pool, and cheering for your favorite team "color".

We did not grab a bite, but this full service bar had a nice selection of draft beers on tap, with minimal "cost".

I'll have to admit, I plan on eagerly coming back to this five "carat" establishment!

This is the best sports bar in the area, and perhaps in all of Louisville. It's large, has about 20 pool tables, smoker's porch (with outside bar, heaters, and tvs,) Multiple TVs in every possible direction, and specials out the ass. My first visit had 20 wings for $5 and giant 24oz Magic Hat's for $3. I mean, I bought 2 rounds, 40 wings, played 2 rounds of pool. This was all during a UofL football game (go cards,) and I found a table for my party, didn't wait for beers, and found a pool table no problem. Don't get me wrong, the place was busy, it's just so huge that a crowd was a non-issue, which fits my bill for a sports bar.

Sure it's noisy and people cheer, but it's a sports bar pool hall, if you aren't excited go home.

One of the best places in town to watch multiple sporting events at one-time. Lots of TVs!!!!  There is also usually a drink special. Food is general pub-type food.  

Beer is generally domestic.  Limited craft beer selection.

The location is HUGE.  It has billards, bar, seating area, and a concert hall.
