Went with the beau for a bike ride last evening & stumble upon this somewhat new gem to the Victoria Park/Colee Hammock neighborhoods. It was new to us, since neither of us had dined there pior to last night. It has been around for less than a year. Have heard great reviews, so we were excited to check it out!

First of all, it's owned by Elliot who also owns Coconuts. Foxy Brown also promotes 1/2 off bottles of wine Tuesdays & Wednesday, just like Coconuts, so that was a ncie surprise! Great wine list for such a quaint restaurant! No more than 20 tables but a wine list compairable to any 100+ person restaurant in town.

Looking at the menu, we decided to start the meal with an appetizer & chose the Green Fries (battered & fried green beans). I was hesitant, but once the BF saw the description, it was ordered in less than 2 seconds. I was hesitant because of it being battered & fried - not usually part of my daily diet. Surprisingly, they were lightly battered & just flash freid! The green beans were still crisp! Great app!

All the entrees sounded amazing! We opted to split a chicken dish - totally forgot the name. But one chicken breast pan seared with the skin stil attached! The chicken was nicely seasoned & adorned a bed of spatzel, topped with parmesan cheese. Overall the dish was delish but WAY to much garlic!

Overall great place, super cute & good food. Barender was very nice as well - Morgan!

We had brunch here & absolutely loved it. Tried the crab cake benedict, florentine benedict, granola bowl & mimosas, of course. All were delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Great Service and Delicious Food! :)

This is a cute little place. We had the Foxy Dip, Short Rib Benedict and White Chocolate Raspberry Pancakes! All 3 were winners! :) We will definitely be back!

My husband and I met some friends from out of town for brunch.  We were very happy with this restaurant.  Prompt service and good food.  My husband ordered the crab cake benedict and was pleased.  I ordered the Garden Fritatta and was happy with my choice - however a little more salt would've helped bring the flavors together.  Our friends convinced us to order Bellinni's which we did.  A bit expensive but the perfect touch!  While this place isn't cheap, it's clean, the wait staff is friendly, and you get what you pay for in terms of food.  Will definitely be back!

Fantastic food and atmosphere. The place isn't huge so the waiters are always aware of how your table is doing. My drink usually is refilled by the time I have 1/3 left.

The food has been great each time. I highly recommend the brunch on weekends. Some really cool/unique dishes.

We had a very nice brunch. My fiance ordered a steak hash skillet. It was a very generous portion and the presentation was impressive. The flavors were robust and delicious. There was a little too much onion in our opinion but it was still excellent overall. I ordered an egg, English muffin and chicken sausage and they were all fantastic. The coffee was very fresh. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very efficient and friendly. She even gave us a sample of the homemade donuts. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back.

Dinner for four. We all thought the place, the service and the food were great. Dinner for four with different friends. We all thought the place, the service and the food were great, again. The service was very efficient and friendly enough. Sincere recommendations from the server. I can see how they would have little tolerance for high maintenance people. It's simply not that kind of place. Besides the dishes recommended in several other reviews, I would mention the fish & chips (love the "breading" as opposed to the traditional batter) and Mabel's chicken. Dinner for four with a couple of glasses of wine or beer for each person was about $130.

Mmmhmmm! Just the brunch you need on a laid back fatty Saturday or Sunday. I came here with my cousin on the earlier side (10ish) and it was already bumping. We got sat quickly but there was definitely a longer wait when we left.

Everything was so tempting on the menu so we did the best thing possible in that situation- shared! We started with the donut holes and split the ricotta nutella grilled banana bread and asparagus frittata. Everything was perfect! Loved that the banana bread wasn't overloaded with the filling. The frittata was a rich, we couldn't even finish it between the two of us. It was also HUGE. Probably could've even shared it with a third person.

Prices are definitely reasonable and they had good coffee which is a huge plus. Our server was nice but we didn't get a chance much to talk to him because we were too busy catching up with each other.

I'd love to try this place for dinner sometime on another journey up north.

Just an FYI the parking situation there is tricky. They only have a tiny lot and then it's hard to tell what else is legal parking around the area..But just give it a try!

I went here for Sunday brunch and I am sad to say the service was terrible.  In fact, it was the worst service I've experienced in a long time.

First, the hostesses were very cold and unfriendly.  More specifically, they constantly had the "stink eye" look while they were walking around.  When my group went to put our name on the waiting list, the hostess we approached didn't even speak a word to us...she simply wrote the name down gave us a look like we were asking her for change and walked away.  As someone who dines out frequently I must say it was bad form.  I've been to pretty much every trendy restaurant in Miami, Manhattan and L.A. and have NEVER seen hostesses walking around with as much attitude as the ones here.

The next issue we had was with the matter of putting your name on the waiting list...we put our name on the list and patiently waited at the bar for around 30 minutes.  We were next in line to be seated when in walks in a group that seats themselves.  The hostess with the list saw them and approached them.  They flat out told her they didn't see anyone sitting at the table so they just went ahead and sat down.  She walked away and did nothing.  My group confronted her and reminded her how we had been waiting and she told us she would take care of it.  She took care of it by bringing the group that sat themselves menus.  We saw this and confronted her again.  She dismissed us and said she could get us the manager if we have a problem.  We said fine and asked to speak to him.  The manager came up to us, apologized and told us we would get the next table.  15 minutes later, we had yet to be seated.  We ended up leaving because we were so disgusted with the lack of consideration.

Simply put, there are a lot of good restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale where the service is great...The Foxy Brown is not one of them.  However, if you want to go to a place where you are treated with little to no consideration, The Foxy Brown is the place for you.

Decided to take my parents here based on the Yelp reviews. I must say Yelp did not do me wrong! Service was great and so was the food. We were looking for a place to sit outside with our 2 small dogs, and they have a small, but nice outdoor area. Macaroni and cheese was amazing and so are the french fries. Definitely worth a repeat!!

Short rib grilled cheese. Mmmmm melt in your mouth good! I can def eat one of those everyday. And the kicker? Garlic Parmesan fries! Just the right amount of garlic and crisp so you can enjoy them and still kiss your significant other afterwards!

Several weeks ago, my co-worker and I accidentally stumbled upon this tiny little gem in the wall after work one day.  We were looking for a place to have a nice glass of wine while we waited for an appointment time somewhere else, so we figured....why not?  Boy am I glad we stopped in.  Although this place is small, it's got a great atmosphere!  The wine was fantastic....and although we didn't have time to eat, the food smelled delicious and we definitely plan on going back.  I'm only giving it 4 stars because I haven't tasted the food yet.  Best part about this place is that it's got parking in the back and it's free!!!  For being near Las Olas and Downtown Ft. Lauderdale, this is definitely a plus!!!!

I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this place.  I usually don't care for the trendy, hot-spot kind of places because they are usually overpriced with extremely small portions.  I went here for brunch on a Saturday and the restaurant was crowded which is always a good sign.  The server greeted us promptly and even suggested a few items right off of the bat.  I would have liked the samoa pancakes to be any other girl scout cooke since I can't stand samoa's, but oh well.  We started off with the donut holes and captain crunch milk and I ordered the steak and eggs and my wife ordered the samoa pancakes.  The donut holes were decent although I would have liked a few more of them seeing as how they weren't inexpensive.  My entree wasn't great but it wasn't horrible.  The steak was actually bologna and it just wasn't what I expected it to taste like.  Oh, Oscar Mayer, where art thou?  Thy imposter tryeth to take thy place.  The eggs were fine and the portion was large enough since it was brunch and brunch portions are pretty much on the small side unless you eat at a buffet.  The guy next to me ordered the biscuits and gravy and that is probably what I should have had.  I'd like to give this place one more shot and either order the biscuits and gravy or here's hoping that they have thin mint pancakes!

Went on a relatively slow Monday evening. The  service was very good. The menu is not extensive, but manages to cover a lot of bases. My partner and I sampled the spinach/bacon salad special, french onion soup and the chicken grinder. The salad and soup were excellent. In fact, It's been a long time since I have had french onion soup this good. The sandwich was very good. I selected the garlic fries as a side. The garlic flavor was good, but the fries were the crinkle cut variety. They could do better. Then meal ended with a nice touch, hot towels. We plan to return for lunch in the near future. There is a small patio area at the rear of the building that affords outdoor dining.

So I've been here before for brunch and the mimosas were great and the food was decent, it's hard to get pancakes wrong in my opinion. Never cared for the crab cake benedict though - had them once and the ingredients just didn't seem fresh. But overall it's a nice meal and there aren't many options for brunch in FLL.

Anyway, I came  back this past Sunday and I'm not sure what happened? The mimosas were WEAK, I wasn't sure they were just bringing me oj instead until I got the bill, $8 for a mimosa that is pretty much oj. Not happy. Food wasn't horrible but there is a service issue here. Our waitress was very nice but I do agree with what the other Reviewer said about the hostesses, there were 2 brunettes that seemed allergic to smiling and were plain rude. I'm ok with waiting but it makes it a tougher pill to swallow when the person telling you to wait can't smile and makes you feel like you're bothering her - both of them.

Talk about nice...a fight nearly broke out over who was going to seat us! We finally got a chance to try this restaurant on the way out of town, and I'm glad we did.  We happened to get in just before the "brunch rush", and got a great table, ending up next to another table of Yelpers.  Food was good, prices a little high, but priced for the experience of great service.  No oatmeal, but a pretty granola sundae.

    Fantastic!

First, ask for Greg as your server.  He is extra friendly, but not that over-bearing friendly where they hang out at your table and make it awkward; he is knowledgeable about the menu, and even went to say if I didn't like something, they would make me anything else!  Greg knew every special and describes them perfectly.

The atmosphere is beautiful! Perfect for date night! No kids were in the restaurant either!!! Woohoo!!!!

Looking at prior Yelps, we knew that the specials would most likely be the way to go.  Started with the tuna tartar-PERFECT! The boyfriend ordered the "pork cheeks" special (I almost gagged) and I had the scallops after going back and forth between the lamb ribs and scallops---I even changed my order after giving him another order and Greg did not show one ounce of frustration or the desire to spit in my food :)

The boyfriend LOVED LOVED LOVED The pork cheeks---I even tried a bit...AMAZING! The gravy should have been licked off the plate! YUMMY!

So the scallops....ehhhh....I am not a fan--they were undercooked...and since I did not report it (because I was being a pain anyways with the switching of the entrees) I still give this place 5 stars.  The scallops I felt also lacked something....Im not sure what it is...but doesnt matter...there are many many many more entrees to choose from!

I love Foxy Brown! I am so glad they are here, and I hope here to stay for a LONG time!  You won us over!

I'm going to start out this review by stating that the fact that my brother, Jermaine G., wrote a review for The Foxy Brown before I did is reason for everyone to believe this restaurant must be really good! He's never quick to write a review so that means the experience was EXCELLENT! I absolutely LOVE this place. I went there twice in one week so you what does that tell you!

First things first, it's a small intimate restaurant that's perfect for a date night or dinner with parents (like my experience was) or even dining solo! There's something for everyone on their menu. On both of my visits there, I had phenomenal waiters that were on top of their game. The first night was Greg and the second night was another guy whose name I can't recall. These guys are good. They can tell you the entire menu off the dome PLUS the specials of the day. On Tuesday nights, all of their wines are half off so that's incentive for you to purchase a bottle! They only serve beer & wine so just a heads up on that. Whatever you do, get their specials! It's always something that's fresh, tasty and different than anything you've ever tried elsewhere so you won't go wrong there. The week we went, they had one appetizer that was heirloom tomatoes stuffed with sausage and topped with cheese and then a quick fry for a little crunch! The night I was there with my brother, he had this crab stacked salad with avocado and grapefruit. It looked great and tasted even better. He only let me have a little taste (talk about selfish) but what I nibbled on was really good. The crab meat was fresh and tender and the mixed greens had a nice crunch to it, not soggy like some places. I can go on & on about the food but I don't want to bore you. Just go. You're going to love it. If you don't, something is terribly wrong with your taste buds and you should go see a doctor. Next on the list is their brunch. If it's anything like their dinner, I'm already a fan!

My parents were in town and suggested the entire family go out to dinner, my brother suggested a chain restaurant; I on the other hand thought my parents deserved a little more than that, we contacted our family foodie (our sister) and she suggested The Foxy Brown, she had recently visited it earlier in the week and couldn't stop talking about it. We all showed up around 8 and immediately I knew I was in for a good time, the ambiance is great, a lavish leather bench runs the length of the wall and numerous tables accompanied by some very comfortable chairs.

The waitstaff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu; since he recited all 8 specials off the top of his head AND he asked about any allergies in our party (very cool) They offer beer and wine, no hard liquor. We ordered 2 appetizers, one was a fried tomato stuffed with chicken (top notch) and a pretzel bread appetizer with a pork spread and cheese spread, very good. Make sure you ask for no salt on your pretzel bread.

I got one of the specials, Mixed green salad w/crabmeat, slices of grapefruit, bacon (everything is better with bacon) and a grapefruit vinaigrette. Lets just say.....I left my plate clean. As I looked around all of my family members plates suffered the same faith.

For dessert we had the pretzel brownie (sounds crazy but its amazing) with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I'll be back to Foxy Brown in the near future.

This place was great!! I've lived in Chicago for over 10 years and was spoiled by all the amazing food. Now that I live in Fort Lauderdale I love finding restaurants that are up to par....
Service was great, food was delicious!!  I had half of a patty melt, mac & cheese, a deviled egg and the tomato wedges. YUM!  It was all tastey. The waiter recommended the tomatoes for a side so we tried them and the oil & pesto sauce on them was soooo good.
I can't wait to go back!

In the spirit of their "Be Nice" mantra, I am going to be very very nice!  I LOVED LOVED LOVED this place.  What a find!  I have been to Coconuts, Foxy Brown's sister restaurant, but Foxy Brown beats it hands down.  The service was warm, friendly and fast and the food was amazing!

We came for brunch on Sunday.  This place is located near Las Olas but not directly on the strip.    Had I known, I would have made a reservation for the back patio since it looked very welcoming but it was full when we got there.  Gotta remember for next time...

I had the red wine Sangria and loved it.  The coffee my bf ordered was good too. I hate a breakfast place with bad coffee.

We ordered the Garden Frittata with asparagus, tomato and Gruyere cheese.  It was huge!  We split it three ways and it satisfied our need for something eggy.  But as good as the frittata was, it could not compare to my favorite - the short rib benedict (braised shortribs w/ chimichurri hollandaise).  I wanted to lick the plate (but stopped myself just in time).  Next time, I am ordering that just for myself - no sharing!

Since there were three of us sharing, we wanted something sweet so we opted for the White Chocolate Chip French Toast.  Four pieces of this divine dish arrived on a plate with drizzled custard, maple syrup and powdered sugar.  Since it is made with bread pudding, it was not the typical light french toast but rather it was very dense and rich.  I loved it.

    Can't wait to go back!

I had dinner at the Foxy Brown my first night in Florida while on vacation. What a GREAT way to start a vacation. There was three in my party and everyone loved their selection. I had a scallop dish that was to die for. The chicken wing appetizer was also great. Good service, nice ambiance, all said and done a very nice place. I wish I lived closer I would eat there once a week.

Foxy Brown's is the shizzle! Boom bam pow! Lol

I've dined here twice and not only have I LOVED my meal both times but so has everyone at the table! For starters- The pretzel bread is warm and toasty on the outside soft on the inside goodness! The spreads and baby gherkins that accompany it are a perfect balance. The lollipop wings are so different and delish! The red bean is not what you would expect...don't pass on getting these! Specials are never a miss! And the garlic parmesan fries are perfection! (there is a lot to be said about a perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned French fry...at least I think so). Also - you can never go wrong w the Mac and cheese...same as coconuts.

The 'Be Nice' Slogan....they really mean it. Staff is exceptional. Restaurant is spotless. Can't wait to go back and try some more delicious food...I just know it will be ;)

I was really hungry for a good ole fashion breakfast - you know the kind biscuits and gravy, hash browns and grits style breakfast. My BFF suggested that we try The Foxy Brown and it wasn't exactly what I had in mind but it was delicious! More of a modern twist to the good ole fashion b-fast I was looking for. I had biscuits and gravy with ham  gravy and we split a white chocolate waffle for a breakfast appetizer and it was delicious!
Cost for my biscuit and gravy was $10.00

This was a pleasant surprise for the area. Not only did I enjoy the company for brunch, but the food was absolutely AMAZING.

We both had the salmon benedict... delish poached eggs, amazing sauce, and the salmon was cooked perfectly with this woody/ smoked flavor. All I can say is I'm craving more.

Great spot and I highly suggest!

    Excelent service!
I went for on a Sunday and I personally thought that  they have pricey brunch drinks for a BRUNCH DAY. $9.00 for a mimosa and $9.00 for Bloody Mary.
.... Having my Short Ribs Benedict while I type this review, that means it's not phenomenal as I thought it would be, it's very blend and flavorless, I'msure there is something missing,  some kick to it, maybe the cilantro on the chimichuri sauce or something... I'm not sure what.
Will come back to try other things..

Had a delightful Sunday brunch here today. We had quite a large party - 13 total - and we were greeted and seated promptly. While the restaurant and menu are small in stature, there's certainly enough for all pallets.

Service was friendly and the food was perfectly and inventive (our daughter's 'Smore Waffles were a hit, as were the potato cakes, granola, banana pancakes - not one complaint).

If you're looking for a convenient place to meet (as we were) some place between Miami Dade and Palm Beach counties - TFB should be on your list.

    You'll not be disappointed.

    Just incredible.

It's not a very big menu...but what what was ordered off the menu was done just right!

We decided to stop in here on a Monday night after driving by and seeing the cute little spot.  We checked out the reviews and decided it was liked enough.  And boy can I see why.

The staff was amazingly friendly.  It wasn't a busy night, but even if it were half the attentiveness of what we got, it would have been perfect.  Our waiter was happy to explain anything on the menu.  He even offered a sampling of draft beers to make sure we enjoyed our bevereages.

Beyond the service, the food was delicious.  As an appetizer we had the Frech style chicken wings and they were incredible.  The Breakfast Sandwich is just perfect.  The pork belly, the fried egg, the sauce, pickels...perfect.  I had the spinach as a side and it was delicious.  My date enjoyed the special salad with grilled peaches, blacked shrimp and a lite and flavorful vinagerette.

For desert we tried the bread pudding.  This was the low point...but it was still very good.  Should have tried the Strawberry Shortcake that others have raved about.

We will definiltey be coming back the next time we're up in Ft. Lauderdale.  And it's true...they do fold your napkin for you if you get up to use the restroom and there were hot towles between every corse.

Foxy Brown is just what Victoria Park/East Fort Lauderdale needed.  I have dined here on quite a few occasions-  for brunch and dinner.  In this review, I will breeze over dinner and focus on brunch.  For a few dinner review, check out Douglas C.'s review.

For dinner, we love their pretzels and little shorty chicken wings.  The pretzels have the right amount of salt and are the perfect starter to whet your appetite.  The wings are not spicy at all.  I have only had the Cock-a-doodle chicken sandwich.  I liked it better when they fried the chicken, but it is still good.

As for brunch, this is easily my favorite brunch in South Florida.  There are so many delicious looking menu items on the brunch menu, it is hard to make a decision.  It is the type of place where you look at the tables next to you see what they ordered and eavesdrop on their conversations with the waiter.

I have been here three times.  My first visit here I tried a sample of the raspberry and white chocolate pancakes and LOVED the batter. (My second visit I had this as an entree).  That visit however, my main course was the White Chocolate Chip French Toast.  It was delicious.  The bread they used was from their bread pudding.  Even though it was rich and probably a good size for its richness, I still wish the slices were a little bigger.  I personally am not a fan of the Neuske bacon.  It is too smoky for my tasting.  My dining companions always prefer the more savory menu items (hangar steak hash, frittattas, Benedict) and they all loved them.

What makes Foxy Brown a special brunch place is they have an extensive menu of breakfast specials, including featured pancake of the day.  First visit - they had German chocolate cake pancakes.  I am still regretting not ordering them.  Second visit, red velvet pancakes (I am not a cream cheese fan, so no loss for me) and then third visit I ordered the brownie stuffed pancakes.  Yes, that is correct.  Small brownie bites were cooked inside the pancakes and placed on top - drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce.  IT WAS AMAZING and CHOCOLATEY GOODNESS.  My complaint with chocolate chip pancakes are there never are enough chips.   Well, my friend, the brownies sure do the trick and I never had a bite without a little chocolate in it!

Pancakes at Foxy Brown are large, airy and have two to a serving.  I am not a pancake breakfast fan, and I love these pancakes.

Two brunch appetizers I have not tried (because I know the entrees are so big) but always intrigue me are the doughnut holes with cereal milk and banana bread grilled cheese.  I also am intrigued by the S'mores waffles.

The only reason I give this place four stars and not five, is that I am not a huge fan of their dinner.  I will definitely continue to be a frequent diner at Foxy Brown!

I'm eaten here twice now. The first time I had an expensive sandwich that was bland. The second time was for a crowded Sunday brunch. I gave the restaurant one more chance. I had the banana foster pancakes and blah! I ate two bites and didn't like it. My friends and family all said the food was mediocre or they didn't like it at all. The most annoying part was our
blonde waitress didn't take off my pancakes from the bill and I had to pay for it. I literally ate two bites.

It seemed we arrived at the end of the lunch rush so it was a little empty. The decor was really nice and the atmosphere comfortable. I ordered the patty melt and my sister ordered the chicken sandwich. I ordered the patty melt medium well, I received it medium rare. The fries are delicious and the herb slaw that came with the chicken sandwich also great. But having my sandwich rare sort of ruined my experience. My sister enjoyed her sandwich, whom is a picky eater which was a big surprise.
I would go back if I was in the neighborhood to try something different.
Both the owner and the waitress were very nice
Not sure if its a great place for kids, it doesn't a big selection for picky eaters.

Three of us decided to check out The Foxy Brown for Sunday brunch since we heard it was the new "best brunch" place in Fort Lauderdale.  The results, for me at least, were mixed.  The hostess was really nice, but I found the service overall to be spotty.  All servers seemed to be kind of covering the tables although we did have a designated waiter.  Our drink order was incorrect, and when my husband asked for some lemon for his water, he got a plate with one tiny wedge!  However, all of the servers were very nice.

Onto the food!  Our group decided to order three dishes and share them - the Banana Bread Grilled Cheese, the Garden Frittata (with the asparagus switched for some spinach) and the Short Rib Benedict.  The Banana Bread Grilled Cheese was great - two pieces of banana bread filled with a mix of nutella and ricotta and a caramelized banana slice on the side.  Note that this dish is a "Breakfast Appetizer" so it's smaller than a normal entree.  The fritatta had a lot of potential - spinach mixed in with the egg, gruyere melted on top and slices of tomato on top of that.  However, I found it to be oversalted and oily which was really a shame.  Finally, the Short Rib Benedict was out of this world!  The combination of short ribs, chimichurri sauce, poached eggs and english muffins really worked.

I would be inclined to try The Foxy Brown again as long as they can fix the food and service inconsistencies.  It has a lot of potential.

Pork Belly. Pork Belly. Pork Belly.

    Get the Breakfast Sandwich.

Can you guess what I had for lunch yesterday?

This place is spectacular!  The menu is perfectly sized with an eclectic set of choices.  I cannot wait to experience their Sunday Brunch.  The staff was wonderfully friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the dishes.  Our server Martine was wonderful (and cute to boot!).  They were ready to describe everything that was brought to our table, were always on top of filling our water glasses, were not overly attentive, but we never had to look for them, and were sure to fold our napkins if we ever got up.  Bravo to the staff!

My little Pork Belly and I shared the oven roasted artichokes and Pretzel Bread to start.

The artichokes were perfectly cooked, seasoned, and served.  really nothing more to say other than, get them.

The pretzel bread was good.  Served as 3 loafs with 3 spread options:  A 5 grain mustard, a ham spread, and a beer based cheddar cheese.  The mustard was delish, not too overpowering, and was a nice compliment to the other spreads.  The ham spread was nothing special...meh.  The cheese was good, but also not spectacular.  Both of us agreed that this is an appetizer that is good to get if you're with a group of people just to nosh on while waiting, but nothing special.

Then we each had the Breakfast Sandwich.  I had mine with the deviled eggs, and she with the spinach.  Oh My Goodness!! This sandwich needs to be featured on FoodTV, Cooking Channel, and any other show that can let people know how damn good it is.  Let me be the first to admit, I have an unhealthy obsession with pig, but seriously...amazing sandwich.

The deviled eggs were good, nothing spectacular and a little salty for my taste, but who expects to get deviled eggs out?!  The spinach on the other hand was to die for.  Ever-so-lightly sauteed with a good amount of garlic, the leaves were nice and firm and flavorful.  I will make sure to get this side everytime I come back.

We split a chocolate shake, reluctantly after debating if either of us had enough room in our stomachs.  The shake was very good.  Just thick enough, great flavor, and really, how can you go wrong with a chocolate shake?!

Overall, I love this place!  And just before we were leaving, I found out that on Tuesdays and Wednesdays they have 1/2 off bottles of wine!  I can't wait to go back.

    Oh, and....PORK BELLY!!!

There aren't many places I award five stars to, and the same for the other end of the scale - one star.  Foxy Brown earned their solo star.

Greeting - this was the highlight of the evening, other than leaving.  We were welcomed quickly and graciously and quickly seated.

Service - I felt like we were an inconvenience to the waiter.

Food - the kitchen made up for quality and imagination with salt.  Lots of it.  And the presentation was anything but attractive.  Brought back memories of Army mess hall days.

Prices - Priced like the restaurant they wish they were, but they aren't close.

Ambiance - we couldn't figure out what Foxy Brown wants to be; dark, wooden bar and seats, but then orangish, laminated tables.  The music was all over the place - jazz, rock, elevator, Latin.  And the menu was comfort food.  Who knows...

Oh, the parking lot was nice.

    That's all.
