Stopped here for a well-earned Bloody Mary after the Trolley Run.
The Bloodys were spicy, and good.
Tried to sit on the patio but it was full of post race runners and spectators.
We ordered food from their brunch menu. There is one vegetarian friendly dish - French Toast (if you eat eggs). There are also several meat inclusive breakfasts and a basic egg, toast, potato and bacon option you could get without the bacon.
The food was filling and good. The potatoes were crispy and the eggs were scrambled well.
No complaints.
For three-stars, I sure do end up coming here a lot. Â There are some Pros and Cons that I will list out:
Pros:
- Probably the best nachos I've had. Â LOADED with brisket, jalapenos and goodies. It used to come with white queso, but the last time it had the regular cheese. Â I prefer the white queso.
- Great location
- Lots of event space for your private parties in the back, and/or up top
Cons:
- Pricey for what it is, pints cost $5+
- Kind of a meat grinder crowd, not bad for late night but a little dirty if you're sober
- Sometimes there is a cover (There should NEVER be a cover for this place)
Having said all that, I'll definitely be back for a alumni happy hour, a quick beer, or at the very least for several more plates of their awesome nachos.
