When you are out bar hopping in Covington this a great stop to slow down and get some pizza.  I have been to the other locations and this is the one I like most.  It is right in the middle of bars and the staff is great.  We have made many stops here and will make many more.

I didn't even realize there was a location in Covington! Great pizza as always and I loved the mural on the wall. This pizza has a bit of a kick to it which, given your interpretation, could be good or not good when you are eating late at night. Love to support this small but long time business in the area.

I am fairly sure that everyone that works here is completely stoned on a regular basis.First of all their hours are completely erratic, so  I'm not really sure when they're open, except for 1 am on a Friday night. No clue how they pay their rent with hours like that.  Secondly, when my friend and I went in and  ordered a large cheese pizza,we were told it would be ready in 10 minutes, s we went next door to the new OKBB for a manhattan, which was excellent, but I digress....When we came back to pick it up, 2 slices were missing out of it. Shaggy, who was standing there behind the counter smoking and giggling, had sold them to someone else. WTF? Now don't get me wrong, the pizza is decent...when you can get it. And I will probably go back, but only because I'll be buzzed from drinking beer all night in Main Strasse  and forget how flaky they are.

This is definitely the place to stop after a few drinks down in MainStrasse.  You can get a big, greasy slice of pizza for just a couple bucks that seems to be everything you need in your life at that point.

My last Lucy Blue adventure came after walking into Zola's across the street at 1:05 morning and finding out the kitchen had just closed five minutes before. Damn! But they told us we could totally bring a pizza in. Win! And so, off to LB's.

I have been to the pizza window in OtR many times, but this was my second time to the one in Covginton. People are correct, it is awesomely located - right in the middle of the strip. Combine that with the fact they stay open until way late, and you've got yourself a drunk food spot, my friends.

This Lucky Blue is tiny, a one room pizza joint with a few tables. When we came in there were four people working behind the tiny counter, which was very strange and made the place feel packed. Still, we were waited on right away and got our food quickly. Good news all around.

My real issue with Lucy Blue's is the pizza is never as hot as I want it to be. It's been sitting out there in a warmer forever and whenever I get a slice, it always feels luke-warm. Ah well. Also, for some reason, I really dislike the crust and end up throwing down the barebone end of the pizza and reaching for another slice. And I usually love eating crust.

But the slices are cheap (like $2 a pop) and pizzas are $12 for a whole cheese, which rocks. This is a solid pizza joint for sure ... and only gets better the later it is and the more you drink.

Thank you Lucy Blue for being in the most perfect location!  Right in the middle of all the bars in Main Strasse.  This is probably the best drunk food there is (sorry White Castles, they've got you beat).  They sell pizza by the slice, and it is SO GOOD!  I've never had it sober, but I've heard it's just not the same.  Why try it sober?  Lucy Blue blows Fatty Patty's out of the water!!!

This was a 5 star for me for a long time.... Mainly because I only eat here when I am absolutely ripped. I went to get some  the other day, and it isn't nearly as good when your sober at 5 as it is at 230 when you've thrown 6 to many back. Definitely a  situational 5 stars if your only other choices are Skyline and Whitey's. Also leaves grease stains on your pants during the cab ride home.

A great, small little pizza joint, open through the evening until early in the morning. The pizza is very good. The crust is thin but not too thin, with just the right amount of crispy. The sauce is flavorful and the cheese is good quality cheese.

The pieces are perhaps a little on the small side, but when you consider they are only $2 ea, it is a bargain. The staff is friendly and they cook the pizzas effectively so you can get a fresh slice immediately.

Lucy Blue is one of just a handful of pizza by the slice joints I've seen in the area. They are open late which unfortunately for you early afternoon cravers means that with the exception of the downtown location they are not open early enough for the mid-afternoon crave. I find myself wandering past on a regular basis, broke, starving and feeling like I might have just struck oil or met Buddha (I get a little nutty when my blood sugar drops). The pizza is almost always just minutes from being ready and I walk out in short order with a hot slice of pizza and a fresh memory of chatting with a friendly employee.

If you visit the Covington location and have to wait try to spend your time laughing at the parody of Main Strasse that is painted on the inside wall and daydream of hijacking Lucy's hot air balloon and flying over the forest because that's always fun.

Lucy Blue's stole my idea. For years I've been saying "Wouldn't it be fabulous if there were a late night pizza place open when all of the MainStrasse bars close?" And wouldn't you know it, the folks at Lucy Blue felt the same way.

With other locations downtown and in Mt. Lookout, Lucy Blue's specializes in spectacular New York style pizza pies served well past most peeps' bedtime. Tuesdays through Saturday the Covington restaurant serves grub until 3 am. The place is the perfect alternative to Awful Waffle or Gold Star.

I ordered a single cheese slice and a can of Sprite, which cost a measly $2.75! With a single bite I was transported to a corner pizza parlor in Manhattan, and immediately wanted to order another slice after I finished. You can buy by the slice (topping options are limited) or you can choose from a variety of specialty pies, like Greek, BBQ Chicken, Ranch, and BLT. They also sell salads (Caesar, Greek, Tossed, and Lucy's) served with home-made dressings.

So next time you're closing the bars on MainStrasse, check out Lucy Blue's for big bite of the Big Apple.
