Maria's Pizza

Maria's pizza is a very unique recipe that I have enjoyed since childhood.  My family frequently visited Maria before she sold the restaurant nearly 20 years ago.  A few owners later and at a new location the pizza still has that same great taste.  The pizza is the perfect combination of buttery, crispy crust with a delightful cheese blend.

Chess + Gelato + Amazing Pizza = My Favorite Friday Nights!

As good as Fountain Square gets. Don't waste your time anywhere else in FS, they don't compare to Maria's.

If I could, I'd eat ten of these pizzas all in one sitting. It was so delicious! I ordered two slices of the roma tomato pizza with herb and it was fantastic. The crust thin and crispy, hot and fresh out of the oven--it was fantastic. It was around $4 for a slice (not a HUGE one per say) but it was quality pizza and you could tell. It's a dimly lit restaurant with a somewhat older feel to it. They have foosball, chess, checkers, and other random assortment of entertainment. It gave off a fun, hangout feel. I'm not sure how much a whole pizza would be, but I'd definitely like to try one and fully let myself go to the ways of the delicious pizza based god. All hail Maria's pizza pies!
