Rolling Stones, Beast of Burden: Start things off slow, place your order with the unfriendly server. I'm thinking his unfriendliness is because he wrongly believes you're too gone to a.) give a shit or b.) remember. Or a combination of the two.

Dixie Chicks, There's Your Trouble: I suppose I was really feeling in the mood for some violin and twang. I won't lie I grew up with the trio of blondes, but I never imagined as an upright child that one day I'd be sitting in a diner (half-cocked) at two in the morning in Fountain Square pounding biscuits while putting on my own Dixie Chicks reunion tour in Booth #2. As for the biscuits, egg and toast - perfect in the greasiest and cheapest of ways. Just what I wanted.

Finally, I recommend that you lick the plate clean with Rolling Stones, Shattered (at this point the "entire" restaurant will be singing with you and there will be no holding back when you and Mick J yell "sex and sex and sex and sex! Look at me! I'm in tatters...") No, seriously...don't be shy - I wasn't.

No local, artisan or organic ingredients here. What they do use is executed very well. Especially the eggs. Wow. Well done on the massive, fluffy pancakes too. Always had friendly if somewhat gritty service here. Love it.

Always a good time @ Peppy's and a little curious who is Peppy? Every visit is fun for me in this little neighborhood and all it's eclectic people.
I like that you can watch the food prepared a booth away, the nice lady who prepares each meal like you were right at home.
We travel from very near Greenwood but worth the trip for some truly good diner food and friendly ambiance.
