This place was one of the stops on a pub crawl. Â This place is a large open bar. Â Plenty of space for large groups. Â It has a nice outside seating area as well. Â The service was decent. Â We just got some mixed drinks form the bar and then sat out side. Â The food looked good might have to try something next time.
Review Source:This was one of our Cincy Santacon stops. If it had not been there more than likely I would have never ventured in. Â
The place is absolutely HUGE. There's a massive fully stocked bar in the middle with seating all around. Â The patio was pretty good sized, the only problem we encountered was we got locked out. Maybe the patio wasn't open.....hummmm
Toby Keith's probably won't be a place I return to anytime soon but the experience I had here was a good one.
I had head great things about Toby Keith's before I got there from people who said they had a blast every time they went. Â I was disappointed that none of the shirts said, "Cincinnati" on them, and to look at the servers would have led me to believe I was at a Hooter's restaurant. Â Not that I'm complaining, but it all seemed just a little too designed and not really organically redneck. Â The space was great, as were the booths and gigantic bar.
Review Source:Redemption.....started off with 3 stars, maybe even 2 stars but the waitress brought it up a notch (Samantha was awesome, checked on us frequently and took the pulled pork sandwich off our bill when my wife didnt like it.) and then after eating we sat at the bar and we got good service from the bartender (Tyler). This might be generous but given its Toby Keith and the first song that played was American Soldier when I walked in I feel compelled to give it another star. A good night spot but not the best for dinner.
Review Source:Went here for my first time with a friend after a Bengals game (a loss), so we went looking around for a place at The Banks where we could eat, drink, and actually carry on a conversation. Was simply impossible at Holy Grail, and even at the new Tin Roof, it was a bit too busy for our tastes.
So I thought I'd check out Toby Keith's, being a decent fan of Toby's and other country music. The place was busy but we got a table right away.We weren't served all that quickly, but it did give me time to peruse the fairly brief food menu, and order a beer, which the selection was decent: I got the large one for $8, and on that could have done better than Michelob Light, but it was enough beer for my visit. For food, I went with a bacon cheeseburger with the Freedom Fries (kinda corny a name, but nonetheless fitting in this place).
I was delighted not only by the amount of TVs throughout the place, also the sheer size of the restrooms: lots of urinals and stalls for us guys (the stalls were a pale tan-red and seats black, so I wasn't sure if this place were built in 2012 or 1974). Overall, I wan't all that much impressed (food and drink prices, service somewhat slow), but neither too disappointed (atmosphere, and HOT waitresses). If I ended up back here, I'd be cool with that. Probably not my favorite Banks establishment, but viable nonetheless.
I have a dainty tummy. My wife has a stomach lined with iron. This place destroyed me and damaged my wife. We stopped in for a lunch and at 11PM we were still feeling it's effects.
This was about 2pm on a weekday. The place was not packed. In fact, it was fairly empty. Not being too hungry, we ordered two 'when in Rome' appetizers: Tortilla chips with artichoke dip and buffalo style chicken wings. The food came fairly quickly. I later understood why. I'm fairly certain the wings were a day old and had been microwaved.
But our first indication of something wrong was the artichoke dip. I picked up a tortilla, plunged it in and it broke on the concealed cheese laying atop the dip. I picked up my fork and cut into it. Oh, it was stone cold. Cold? How can that be? While I don't imagine they make each cup to order I assume they have a mess of it in a pan to ladle out. Nope. This was made sometime in the past couple days and tossed in the fridge. Once my order came out someone forgot to hit the start button the microwave. No problem. Our server took it back and the stuff came out warm-ish.
The cocktail menu was something I'd expect for a place on the Banks - lots of flavored vodka drinks and descriptions unashamed to announce they add 'a dash of sour mix'. We ordered two 'Whiskey Girls'. A nice song but a junk cocktail. It's suppose to be Jack infused with honey and lemonade. I tasted a fake honey and the lemonade and a bit of soda. Whiskey? This girl had none.
Our server was polite and attentive to our needs. We couldn't blame her for the food. Plus she had enough problems keeping her breasts in her shirt and her short shorts pulled up. As the lunch the shorts progressed slowly downward revealing the cleft of her behind and a blob of a tramp stamp. The escaping breasts I didn't mind but the thought of where she'd place her fingers to pull up those descending shorts and then touching my food gave me the creeps.
And look, I love Toby Keith. I like him. I like his songs. All that good will he'd built up? Shot to hell.
This place is located right next to Great American Ballpark in a GREAT location. We stopped at this place on a hot saturday. When you first walk in all you see is trailer park barbies from wall to wall :) These girls had kick butt bodies and jacked up faces :) The food....where do I start.....I ordered the chicken friend chicken and when i got it you could totally tell the plate was microwaved. It was hot on the edges and cold in the center. I told the waitress and she replaced the order. I would NOT recommend this dish especially for $14.99.
Review Source:I was just a simple guy from the East Coast (New York City) on a roadtrip when me and my friends found ourselves on the Kentucky / Ohio border on a Saturday night. What better way to spend a Saturday Night then in the worst named bar ever?
Well... the name was the first of MANY things that were terrible with this bar. A country band trying to cover classic rock songs and failing miserably, wait times for over-priced beer that would rival a crowded Manhattan bar or club, beer prices in line with a fancy establishment and not this piss-hole... need I go on?
Suffice to say, my friends and I were very happy when we crossed the border into Kentucky.
My husband and I just stopped in after a dinner at Craves because we have not been here yet. Â Very disappointed. Â It is a Thursday evening and the bar is not yet crowded. Â We sat at bar and watched as servers and bartenders hung out chatting. Â One lady was behind bar serving drinks, but we were never acknowledged by anyone and for some reason
got completely skipped over when another gentleman approached bar to order a drink. Â Granted, we had been sitting there for 5 or so min., she chose to wait on him. Â We grabbed our things and left. Â Let hostess know what happened as well as security guy and his response was, " well, it seems to happen all the time". Â Really?? Â Unfortunately for them, we own a downtown bar and have an influence on where to tell people to go. Â Won't be Toby Keiths.
While I don't think you could pay me to be here on a packed weekend night, the lunch I had there, was good and the service was great. The food was typical bar food but the quality was a little above average and the price is acceptable considering its' prime location. I had a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich ($10) and split a House Salad ($7). The salad was ok, the sandwich was fine. The "Freedom Fries" were nothing special and I left most on my plate. I noticed 12 beers on tap, so there should be something for everyone. There are also more TVs than a Best Buy on Black Friday.
Our server Julie was very attentive and quick with refills and checking up on us. There were only a handful of other people here so if you plan on eating and drinking here, I'd plan for lunchtime or several hours before a Red's or Bengal's game.
The bathroom was clean and had my favorite hand dryers (Xlerators). Cool. If you go, I hope that you have a great time, especially if its crazy busy.
Too Hot, Too Noisy, Terrible Food, Awful Service.
I had to use my phone as a flashlight to read the menu.
We were ignored most of the evening by our waitress. Our salads arrived 30 seconds before our steaks...major no-no. When asked how our steaks were, I honestly answered that they were terrible - all fat and no flavor - and she tried to "educate" me about fat content on rib-eyes....I explained to her that I have never had a rib-eye that was 75% fat! Â Fortunately they discounted the meals.
The one plus? They have Hudepuhl (sp), and it was cold. Â But forget about asking for a second one, since our server was MIA most of the time.
The only way I would go back here would be if Toby Keith personally served me a local brew out of his red solo cup.....don't waste your time, people!
I'm the last person you'd find patronizing a restaurant of a country star famed for a song about disposable plastic cups. Yet, I found myself at Toby Keith's for a promotion for Broadway Cincy and was pleasantly surprised.
The restaurant itself is huge, plenty of tables spread throughout, and a huge circular bar in the center of the room. There is also a stage for live music, and of course, plenty of televisions playing sports. It's definitely not shy about their country music pride, with a giant pick up truck adhered to the wall, sassy tee shirts on the wait staff, plenty of hardwood walling, and Toby Keith nostalgia.
My waitress at the bar was attentive and friendly. Surprisingly, there were no beverage menus on the counter. With a full, massive bar and plenty of liquors on display, I decided to order a mojito.
"Sorry, we don't have that." I picked another mixed drink. Didn't have that either. A quick glance at the beer taps and selecting a Yuengling ended that awkward conversation.
I browsed the lunch menu and noticed a plethora of spelling and grammatical errors. For example, "Tow Pork Chops" and numerous forgotten apostrophes, as in "Toby Keiths." C'mon! It's the name of your business!
I ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad (grilled chicken breast on romaine with onions, red peppers, black beans, toasted candied pecans, tomatoes, cilantro, ranch and cheese) and the Fried Macaroni & Cheese Triangles with ranch. Both were surprisingly delicious, especially the fried mac. I've had the dish elsewhere served with Green Tabasco sauce. Unfortunately, like the mojito, Toby's didn't have the sauce either. Still, it was tasty with ranch.
The salad was good, filled to the brim with toppings leaving the lettuce invisible. The chicken breast on top was smoky and tender. A solid dish, but comparable to Applebee's food.
Pricing is a bit high for what you get, just like most businesses at The Banks.
- $11.00 for the salad
- $8.00 for eight fried mac & cheese triangles
- $12.00 burgers
- $12.00 nachos
- $7.00 appetizers
- $10.00 sandwiches
The restaurant was moderately busy at lunch. Not too crowded, but not curiously empty. On the weekends and especially during sporting events, Toby Keith's is overflowing with customers. I'd recommend giving your first try at this restaurant during a non-sporting event night.
Toby Keith's was better than I expected and worth a try. I'd consider giving it four stars if they improved their attention to grammar on the menu, as well as having a better mixed drink, vegetarian, and condiment selection.
Price per person: $25.00
I was at Toby Keith's for a HH after work on a Thursday night. Â At that time it was pretty empty. Â I have heard it gets much more crowded later and I have seen people in line to get in on a weekend night. So, I am not sure what it is like when it is busy. Â The service was fine and we had some appetizers. Â The food was alright, what I would expect from a bar like this. Â With all the other place to eat downtown I probably will not make another stop here for a meal. Â
It was fine for a happy hour, but I am not sure what it would be like later on and crowded.  I don't think it is the type of place I would come to often, but that is just my taste, I think for some people it could be a  lot of fun.
For Downtown, it is a little different than most places and addresses country music fans which are not really address by any other bar, so it is a good addition as long as it can keep up the business and hopefully it will attract some people who may not come to downtown otherwise.
We stopped by Toby Keiths Saturday night after the Reds game. I've been a few times before, honestly...nothing special. It's usually just for a beer or two after a ball game. The one thing I will say is guaranteed is horrible bar service. This time was no exception. However, this time I had a bartender literally pick a fight with me. SERIOUSLY. After waiting for over five minutes at the bar, the whole time watching numerous bartenders just talking to each other, I grabbed a barback for a simple glass of water for a friend. He got the bartender who was more than annoyed that 1. I grabbed a barback and 2. All I needed was a free glass of water. She proceeded to serve three people before I asked again for water. She slammed some glasses around and I finally got some H2O....but not before she looked at me and said "do you have a problem with me?" I just stood there speechless. So she repeated. "do you have a problem with me?" I was in such shock that all I could say was "excuse me!?'" she then proceeded to tell me that I gave her a "look" and that I don't even know her. If I had a problem I should just say so. OHMYGOD!!!! The bartender literally just picked a fight with the customer! I told her to keep her water, went back to our table and was speechless. I worked in bars and clubs for years, your job is to have fun and make sure everyone else is too. there is not one person that works there that looks like they're having fun or that they even want to be there. The bartenders don't smile, barely make eye contact and are notoriously slow. Ive had a better time at a TGI Fridays bar. You work in a country bar  . look around you! Everyone is singing! And dancing! And having a good time! DO THE SAME! There is nothing that will run a bar or establishment  into the ground quicker than staff that are rude to their customers. This is one girl that won't be returning. Sorry Toby;)
Review Source:Came here yesterday before the Reds game as the Moerlein lager house had an hour wait and my friend wanted to try Toby Keith's.
We asked for a table outside and when the hostess sat us and I heard the other hostess tell her to make sure to tell the server she picked us up as a table. There was definitely something wrong with the communication because we sat at our table for ten minutes till anybody came over and when the server finally came over said they didn't have a drink menu and for us to just tell her the drinks we like and she can see if they have it. Â
I ordered a Sam Adams small and it was served in a plastic cup and was $5, my friend ordered a rum and diet, he actually commented it was strong, but very good.
When we asked our server for suggestions she said "everything is my favorite, you can't go wrong any thing" I ordered the buffalo wings and my buddy ordered the pretzels and a buffalo chicken sandwich. Â The food is what saves this visit for me. The buffalo chicken wings reminded me of the chicken wings from Hooters and they were meaty and pretty good. Â My friend remarked his honey mustard that came with the pretzels was very good and served as a dipping sauce for his sandwich.
Our server the entire meal was no where to be found and when it came time to find her and pay the bill it was even worse. The table next to us even just left cash on the table for her. Â It took about twenty minutes to get someone to take our bill and get us change. We were just glad we were right next to the stadium as we came in at 530 and left at 645.
Another thing to add, there were people smoking outside which is a total no-no.
It seems this service staff needs MAJOR training, I will not return and dissuade my friends and family from returning!!!

I am a city boy and I do not enjoy country music or hillbillies so this was not my cup of tea or should I say moonshine. But if you are into a good old country feeling at city prices you will love this bar and grill. On a side note I only came here in the evening and did not dine on any of their grub.
Review Source:I went for the fried pickles and ended up staying for the band and as a bonus had an evening of top-notch people watching! I would actually give this place a 3.5 stars.
As for the menu, the fried pickles were the best thing I had and better than what I've had at other places. The wraps, burgers and sandwiches come with a mountain of fries, I mean huge pile of fries. When it comes to BBQ sauce, try Toby Keith's it is pretty tasty.
Before the band started, the music is just piped in over speakers while TVs play various sports games. I didn't hear one Toby Keith song the whole night and given that the servers are dressed in cut-off jean shorts and cowboy boots, I expected them to show off a choreographed dance when certain songs played.
For a Friday night, it wasn't as crowded as I would have expected even at 11:30pm and that might be attributed to the band or because they charge a $5 cover after 10pm.
Note to bands: you're a cover band so give the crowd what they want - songs they can dance and sing along to. I'll give you a pass at 3-5 originals, if you want to play all those in your first set while people are warming up, go ahead, but cajoling people to get on the dance floor while you play songs we've never heard won't work. Â
While I saw all types and ages of people here enjoying themselves, I would say if you're not a fan of country music, you should skip this place.
Went to this bar for the first time last night. Â I had never been to one before and I have to say it's nothing more than your typical chain bar and restaurant. Â The experience was just ok, prices of alcohol were about standard for what is at the Banks now. Â The cover charge of $5 is pretty ridiculous at a chain bar and grill, but figured it was worth a shot - I was wrong.
I would have given it a 2 or a 3 until I realized today that I couldn't find my credit card and figured that I must have left it at the bar. Â I called to ask them about it before I went to get the card, busy twice, third time I got a hold of maybe one of the dumbest girls I've ever spoken to in my life. Â When I asked if she could look for my card I received this response "Well we are really busy right now and my managers are out on the floor, so we can't look right now. Can you call back tomorrow?"
Oh sure.... I can just wait another day to find out if you have my credit card or if some random homeless person is out eating a nice steak. Â After some arguing she finally told me "HOLD ON!" and slammed the phone down and got a manager. Â
High level -
Typical bar - nothing special
Mason jars stop being served at 10:00 - so there's no point
Bartenders are trashy and very slow
All 50 TV's were on the same exact station... not sure why anyone would think that's a good idea
Apparently no one that works there has been taught how to treat a customer
I will never go back.
This is a perfect space for sports fans to watch a game. Â It's huge, and filled with tv's. Â Right now I am surrounded by red. Â Happy hour does not exist on game days. Â Drinks are pricey and the food menu calls for at least 10$ a plate. Â I tried the nachos....a favorite of bar foods. Â 10.99. Â ....Huge! Â It must be the theme. Â ...but not thoughtfully put together....everything but the kitchen sink including pulled pork and both creamy nachos cheese and under melted shredded combo. Â Ehhh I've had a much better plate of nachos for much cheaper. Â My draft beer was warm and lacked the craft selection I normally prefer. Â It may not be my preferred arena but I just heard the guy next to me who is obviously here for the first time remark that he "loves this bar" ....so for the country lovin, sports watching, beer drinking, game goin guy and gal...y'all just may "love this bar";)
Review Source:I was lured in by alcohol in mason jars until I learned that not everything comes in a mason jar. Go big or go home, Toby Keith!
I was also a bit disappointed that there weren't giant busts of Toby around the dining room, and his music being played on repeat until you tap out and scream "ENOUGH!!!!" as a crowd gathers round to judge how un-American you are.
The food was decent - I ordered a burger, which comes with a giant pile of what I believe is a statement to people that the potato famine is COMPLETELY over. Nothing more to worry about, Ireland - Toby Keith has your back! Have a mountain of fries!
I found myself thinking about the statistics involved in tipping - compared to women with exposed tramp stamps, how much do those who thought they'd try to go the classy route make? Does heavy vanilla fields perfume effect that number?
Overall, the place was ok, so really the name of the place should be, "Toby Keith's I Guess It Was OK Bar & Grill," but if you're gonna have a gimmick, make sure it translates for ALL alcoholic drinks, Keith!
I visited Toby Keith's early on a Friday night, well before the crowds, so I can't comment on the experience much in that regards. I did notice that on week nights there are $3.00/bottle beer specials. Or you could spend $8.00 for a quart of beer that would be warm and disgusting before I ever got half way.
I stuck to my Coca-Cola, and was then suggested some appetizers. We got the fried mac & cheese, interesting, warm, but basically mac & cheese fried, nothing too extravagant. We also had some fried vegetable thing, but again, nothing spectacular.
I've noticed a lot of people saying some bad things about service, but on my visit, the service was fine. We had a sweet girl as our waitress that seemed concerned with our experience. She checked in on us often, got us refills, and gave us some dinner suggestions.
We both had burgers, and as far as a burger goes, it wasn't the best and it wasn't the worst, but for the price, I would have rather experienced a steak house or Buckhead Burger.
In my opinion, based on one experience, you have to pay to park, pay to eat mediocre food, and it's all on the hype of being Toby Keith's bar... For this Country Fan... I'll pass on Mr. Keith, I don't really love this bar...
The large beers are really large.
So, it's eight bucks for a beer that is roughly the size of your head. Â They could probably put this beer in a bucket and call it a day.
Stopped in here on St. Patty's day just for a drink and was not disappointed. Â The bar staff was very friendly and took my order the moment I posted up at the bar.
This place has a large Roadhouse/Longhorn feel to it with TV's everywhere. Â Midday yesterday the bar had a bit of a family feel to it, so if you're going to be totally raucous this is probably not the place for you.
All told, I thought it would suck but it was a fine place to grab a face full of beer.
Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill is more like "I'd Love Some Service". Â Let's start from the beginning.
Got there at 4pm on Saturday. Seated within 10 minutes, which was great, considering we had 9 adults and a stroller. Â However, not wanting to lose money, the hostess tried to cram us into 2 table that comfortably seat 4 each, except when squished together, there was LITERALLY no room in between chairs. Â So while I changed the baby, my dad requested the three tables towards the bar (that were empty) be pushed together so we could actually all sit. Â A little huffing and puffing, but it was done. Â
Our server changed with the change in location and took the drink and appetizer order right away, so that was great. By the time I got back with the baby, our drinks arrived, and appetizers were about 15 minutes later. Â
Then it took our server 20 more minutes to come back and take our order. Sure, it was crowded for the UK game, but we made up 66% of her serving area. Â It was our group and 2 other tables. Â I saw her several times flirting with customers on the other side of the bar. Â Grrr.
After she took our order, our food was delivered by a couple of other servers, which we expected. Â We didn't expect it to take 40 minutes though. Â Oh well, we had a big party - but seriously - 40 minutes for some salads and burgers? Â
So now we're into Hour 2 of sitting there and we're finished with our food. Â So we wait for our server to come back by and offer refills or the check. We would have taken either at that point. Another server came by and gave us the refills. Â About 30 minutes after we were done eating we got the check. Â
Overall, the food was okay - bar food, but decent. Â The caesar salad had nice crunchy lettuce and really yummy buttery croutons. Â Everyone else said the burgers were good though dry. Â The wait to get in was minimal, but the service was not great. I know it was crowded, but we were able to watch almost two full basketball games. Â
It seems like a great atmosphere if you want to drink and mingle. Â Not so great for larger parties. Â The projector screens were a big hit with my daughter though. She could see them across the bar and her eyes were wide open the whole time. :) Â So the second star is for the happy baby. Â The actual experience only gets one.
My buddy and I stopped by here last Friday night after we discovered the Lager House wait was over two hours. We were seated pretty quickly so it worked out well for our evening plans.
Beers include you typical American domestics. Sam Adams seasonal is the best beer they have on tap. Started with an order of fried pickles. My gold standard for fried pickles comes from Paxton's in Loveland. In comparison, the pickles at TK's were disgusting.
For my main course I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich. Another let down ensued. The bun was underwhelming and much too soft, barely toasted. The peppers that were on my sandwich tasted like they came from a bag of frozen peppers. They definitely were not fresh. For $12 I expect something a little bit better. The side of "freedom fries" were less than decent.
Our waitress was good and very attentive. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. This place is serviceable if you are stuck with no other options at the Banks. However, I would never make a trip to Toby Keith's if I wanted to have a night at the bar where I could get dinner. I would rather be at Arthur's in Hyde Park or Paxton's up in Loveland.
I really wanted to enjoy this experience. Fun Food in a fun atmosphere. Not so much.
Hoping for a Big juicy sloppy burger all tricked out with some over sized home fries and an ice cold beverage.
It did not bother me to have to park in the garage I expected this at a downtown location. The hostess greeted us with a smile and seated us right away early on a Friday night. Hannah our very attentive server stopped by to take drink orders shortly there after and stayed with us all the way through the complimentary birthday deep fired twinky
Hannah made some appetizer suggestions fried Macaroni and Cucumbers we tried them and they were fine. Not special just fine. Hannah then made some dinner suggestions and this is where things went down hill. The California Burger sounded great I asked if the patty was thick or thin. Hannah assured me they use only good grades of beef. So a thick Juicy medium rare California burger was ordered with a big ole slice of guacamole and cheese. What came to the table was a dry over cooked burger with with some slices of Guacamole some lettuce cheese and some shoe string fries. You know the kind you buy in the grocery store and cook yourself. Very Very disappointing.
As for the room Large wide open space with Way too many flat screens all tuned to different channels with no audio. Really no audio. We didn't stay for the band at 9:30 I am affraid with the concrete flooring the noise might just be too much for my ears. By the time we left the place was filling up nicely with a good mix of folks  of all ages and dress obviously out for a Friday night.
I might give T.K. another try but until then I'll find my sloppy juicy cheese burgers else where.
Went this past Saturday night with the whole extended family for dinner and to watch some music.
Get here early. We arrived at 5pm to put our name in and got seated at about 7pm. We had a very large group though, so that wasn't surprising but they don't take reservations. And there is no place to sit (other than the bar) for patrons who haven't been seated yet or don't want to eat....there are high-top tables but they are used to seat dining customers. Also they have little notes on the table asking you to vacate your table when you are done eating so they can seat other customers...which I guess is OK, but people usually like somewhere to sit/put their stuff when out drinking/watching live music.
Service is great...we had back to back booths and one waiter was supposed to wait on one booth and the other booth was supposed to have a different waiter...but that one never showed so the waiter from the opposite booth jumped right in to take care of us, which is commendable IMO b/c I would be overwhelmed with such a huge group all with split checks...don't remember his name but he did a great job all things considered.
The food is nothing to write home about but it's not bad, and it's not expensive so that's OK with me. Draft beers are served in 32 ounce mason jars for $8. They have a number of bottled varieties (including one hard cider) and about 8-10 taps that are generally domestic BMC, but also some Leinenkugel's and Sam Adams. Full bar, lots of fun signature cocktails and shooters...which are probably expensive, but I didn't check.
The place has only been open for two weeks so I'm sure the crowd will calm down a bit as time goes on but Saturday night it was packed...I'm talking at least 50-70 people waiting in line outside at 11pm packed. The bar is a bit hard to get to with people sitting there and it's loud so it hard for the bartenders to hear you too. The band that played was OK...played covers of popular country and some rock songs with country tendencies. Â Again, nothing to write home about. Â
All in all, it's a OK place to go have a been with friends and hear some music. Â It's my understanding that they will have live music most nights/ at least every weekend night so they are bound to have some really good acts at some point. Â If there was a killer band playing, I'd love this place but if the bands just OK or bad it's really not worth it to go, especially not wait in line to go. But if you're going to be at The Banks anyway, it's worth a stop in to see if it's your scene.
Went to Toby's this past Saturday night and a had a great time! Â There were a lot of people so I thought it would be difficult to get a drink, but the bar is so huge and there were so many bartenders that the service was very fast. Â The beers come in 32oz mason jars which is pretty cool. Â If you love country music and are looking for a place to listen to it live on the weekends, you should check this place out!
Review Source:haven't had the food yet, but the bar is pretty cool - that is, if you like toby keith. Â and i do. Â if you don't, stay away. Â
the stage is awesome. Â i am really looking forward to seeing who graces it in the near future. Â
the place is set up to rock. Â if you are a rocker, go here. Â if you are not a rocker, go somewhere else.
If you are looking for a good 'ol honky tonk country bar, then Toby Keith's I Love This Bar is the place you want to go. Â We only stopped in for a drink last Saturday night, but it was hopping with people eating, drinking and dancing to the live band playing country music. Â
When entering, you walk in to a huge open rustic restaurant and bar. Â I'm not sure (because it was too crowded), but I think the large bar that is the center of attention is in the shape of a guitar. Â I'll have to confirm another time when they are not so crowded.
This night, they were not collecting a cover charge at the door, but the guy confirmed that in the future there will be a $5 cover after 10:00 p.m. on weekends, or when there is a band. Â That gives the regular dinner patron the opportunity to enjoy dinner and drinks before the 'night club' crowed shows up. Â
At first glance around, I noticed a diverse age group as well. Â There were the young age group (20-30), as well as the mature (30-50) crowed. Â There are also many televisions around the entire place, so it is a good sports-watching spot.
The food that we saw coming out to patrons looked to be your normal bar fare, so I don't think there is anything special there. Â I did not have a chance to try their specialty cocktails, but they have several 'named' drinks on the menu.
Bottom Line: Â If you like country music and a country atmosphere, you will like this place
