This has become my very favorite place to go for an evening out. The staff is the most pleasant, well-trained wait staff I've ever seen, and the food concentrates on local, fresh ingredients. The Persephone cocktail is amazing. I dearly love it and I've stopped in for just a Persephone some evenings. It is so very good. The atmosphere here is wonderful, with lots of wonderful natural wood and terrific seating arrangements that provide cozy places to dine. I love this place and I hope it is around forever and ever.

Persephone was forced to return because she ingested one pomegranate seed.

Inspired by the Persephone cocktail at Wiltshire, I'll use Greek mythology to describe my experience at this amazing restaurant.

In Greek mythology, Persephone is the daughter of Zeus and the harvest-goddess Demeter. Wiltshire's menu is the combination of God like ingredients harvested from local farms. The menu changes weekly based on the local quality of produce available making sure the offspring of dishes delight all diners.

Homer describes Persephone as the formidable, venerable majestic queen of the shades. In similar tone, while Wiltshire stands among many other amazing Nulu restaurants, it has the ability to give an intimate experience since there are only around 10 tables and gives an individualized experience with royal quality of service and wine selection.

Because of her appeal, Persephone was abducted by Hades, much as we were abducted into ordering two appetizers. We tried the fresh guacamole and fried plantains appetizers. Both appetizers where extremely flavorful and well portioned for a group of four to share. For dinner we tried the steak and pork dishes that were offered that night. My meal was seasoned perfectly and had a perfect home cooked quality.

Persephone is invariably portrayed robed; often carrying a sheaf of grain. Wiltshire does not have large adornments or a posh interior, like the goddess Persephone they represent a modest loyalty to the harvest. In addition, Wiltshire represents it loyalty to the community and to the superb experience to its diners.

I was tempted with a Pomegranate cocktail, but after ingesting all that Wiltshire had to offer, I will be forced to rotate back with the seasons and you should too.

One of the best meals I've ever had was here.  The waitstaff are incredible and make the experience even more enjoyable.  The food is to die for, I always get whatever steak entree they are offering.  The menu changes weekly but I have NEVER been disappointed in the changes and welcome new menu items with open arms.

One of Louisville's best hidden treasures.  I've never been disappointed with this place.  I usually get one of the great specials they have to offer when I stop in.  Nice wine selection and a very friendly staff make this one of the BEST in Louisville !!

My husband and I are regulars at this unique hidden gem in Louisville. The experience is simply amazing! The menu changes each week based on what the chef can purchase from local farms. Always with so much flavor, the entrees are out of this world and we love the charcuterie board! The service is always (Terry, our favorite) right on que!

We highly suggest you go for a visit!!!

Coby Ming's inventive organic entrees, appetizers, and salads are certainly worth the trip down to Wiltshire Pantry. Seasonal, fresh, exciting combinations of locally grown vegetables and locally produced harvested organic meat keep bringing me back to Wiltshire. Susan and her staff couldn't do a better job of creating a warm relaxing inviting atmosphere right in the midst of the East Market Art and Antique district. Don't miss the chance to visit Wiltshire soon!

This place has a lot of potential. We went on a Saturday night and had a reservation, but it wasn't packed. The space is very modern, a bit heavy handed. The food was too. I appreciated the use of fresh and local ingredients, but sometimes less is more. The best part of our meal was a crostini with pesto. Simple and bright flavors. The entrees were riddled with ingredients and became dense. The food was good, but not excellent.  I would try it again though.

Definitely try to the sweet potato & chorizo soup if it is on the menu!  Great atmosphere but small so make reservations.  Creative menu with lots of flavor!
