I came here for a "Big Brothers/Big Sisters" bowling fundraising event. It was my first time at this alley. It was bigger than I expected. The parking lot isn't that great, kind of sketchy. The location is on the corner of Kirkwood Highway in Prices Corner, and across the street from a minimum security prison and a state police barrack.
The inside was clean, they had an arcade, and a connected "birthday room" for parties. They had color coordinated balls for the weights. The staff seemed nice. I didn't check out if they had a pro shop. I mean it's a bowling alley, what is to be expected. Their allies were smooth, none of the lanes had issues, no balls were stuck in the returns.
I joined a summer league with a couple of people so I will write an update if it is warranted. But I know I will post more pictures.
Traditional, classic no frills bowling right here! Â Came here on a Sunday night and this place was packed with families, groups with no kids, couples, etc. Â Waitress service for food and drinks, the food seems to be along the lines of standard snack bar food. Â The only thing I didn't care for is the seating arrandment of the alley. Â Instead of every two lanes having their own little U shape seating arrangment, this place has every 4 lanes in a giant U shape. Â So for 2 lanes there is only 5 seats on the alley, so hopefully you're friendly with the people sharing the ball return with you.
Review Source:I don't go bowling much so I don't have much of a yardstick for comparing prices and facilities at bowling alleys. This place looks fairly decent though. It's just off Kirkwood Highway and you can park in the private lot near any of its 3 entrances. The only problem I noticed is they may be having some trouble keeping the place clean on busy nights. On a recent night when I was there, the carpet was wet and one of the toilets was stuck.
