Good place to have a couple of drinks. Happy Hour 4-7 Mon-Friday, with $3 draft beers, which included Guinness! 4 Guinness for $12 = Awesome!
Friendly bartender. Sports shows on the TV, to have something to watch.
Ordered the Irish nachos, which was very good. They taste like potatoes skins.
I will be coming back
Irish nachos is an amazing recipe. Waffle fries, cheese, bacon, pure unhealthy yum. And a great offset to all of the beer drinking that goes along with hanging out at Brennan's.
Fun atmosphere with a good mix of bar seats and high top tables. Live music.. Very loud.. Â But a good mix of some regular bands that seem to have quite the following.
Bartenders are friendly and prompt.. And made sure we all had full beers for the 7+ hours we were there.
Went to this bar last night and had a great time. The band was fantastic and not too loud. The fireplace was roaring and it was wonderful on a cold night. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. I have absolutely nothing bad to say. The next time I go back I plan to try the food.
Review Source:This bar is a gem in the city of Bridgeport.  Have been there twice now once with my buddy before a concert at Harbor Yard and last night with my wife.  It has a very unassuming exterior but the atmosphere inside is great. To us lighting is what makes the atmosphere in a bar and this place does it right. Very clean, great service great food. nice menu I've had the fish and chips twice  and would highly recomend the irish spring rolls.  last night (fri night ) they had live music  and their menu actually has the list of live shows coming up on it which we thought was cool. It is a place i would have no problem bringing my kids to because even though it has a bar the table seating is far enough away where it doesn't interfere.  It's also great for just hanging out and having a couple before the show.  This is definitley our go to place when we eat in Bridgeport.
Review Source:Easily my favorite bar in town. Â The inside has an Irish tavern look and the bar staff is very friendly, especially Adam. Â The drinks are great and reasonably priced but the most impressive thing about the bar is the menu. Â I'm a big fan of the steak and gorgonzola salad. Â Highly recommended.

Our server was very friendly and accomodating. She didn't have cocktail sauce but made some from scratch and it was awesome. Â A nice pub with clean interior and great beer selections and lunch options. Â
Would definitely go back! Â

This place deserved the Best Neighborhood Bar in Fairfield County award that it recently received! The crew is friendly and attentive, the food is great and reasonably priced, and the drinks are well-poured.
Trivia nights on Wednesdays are my favorite time to go. That's also when they have all of their Irish fare priced at $6 -- the fish & chips and the reuben sandwich are my favorites from those. You might also want to try the vegetarian curry chips even though they aren't on the menu. Plus, there's a sausage sandwich that is amazing if it's ever offered to you -- ask for some bleu cheese dressing to put on top.
One thing that I would personally stay away from is the steak salad. For what you get, it's overpriced and not as tasty as many other offerings.
A good bar in the Black Rock area. Friendly bartenders, regular musical guests but never so you can't hear. There are regular changes in the entertainment on various nights, so it's rarely stale. Â Tuesday karaoke, Thursday dueling piano, and the usual amount of fun that comes on a good Friday and Saturday nights. The only gripe I have is that the beer selection is rather limited. To some, this is not a big deal. I take issue with it, but the bar, staff and atmosphere are worth the tradeoff.
Review Source:Not only are they a cozy bar, but offer some great Irish menu. There aren't too many places that offer the best of both around the area.
The decor and atmosphere is great. All of the seats are large oversized chairs and stools around large wooden celtic and natural wood style tables. They even have a wood burning fire place to add to the ambiance.
Their menu is not the largest but offer a decent selection of food.
Their staff is very friendly and their service is excellent.
Big bar for a decent sized group to hang out in.
Brennan's Shabeen is a great new Irish Bar and Grill right over the border of Fairfield.  I haven't tried their food yet but the atmosphere in this place is splendid.  Nice wood work with seating that isn't cramped.  Feel free to kick back!  They have tv's but I wouldn't classify this as a sports scene bar just yet, has potential.  To be frank, if you're looking for a casual place to grab a table and have some drinks (maybe some fare) with your friends... this is the best option in the area.  Sláinte!
