The Greene Turtle

So I had lunch there today. Second and last time. GROSS.

It was a simple order, cheeseburger sliders and pretzel sticks. The sliders were on these large dry rolls, not the potato buns that the menu said. The meat was cold, and the postage stamp size piece of cheese hardly made a difference.

After trying TGT in Maryland i gave it a shot in Leesburg. Bad idea.
The atmosphere is just cold. There is nothing inviting about this place. Staff is too busy with chatting around instead of helping. Food was below average and nachos were served cold.

First time at the Green Turtle with a Living Social deal and I was very pleasantly surprised. The reviews had me wary but I'm glad we gave it a chance anyway.

We were seated immediately, the waiter came right away to get our order. The appetizer came out almost immediately, while the entrees did take a bit longer. The food is great for a sports bar (don't expect 5 star dinners but for the price and the fact that it's a sports bar, it's great). We had an awesome peanut butter brownie sundae to round out the meal. Over all, a great experience and we'll definitely be back.
