Lafter Hours Comedy Club

Hubby and I have an odd tradition for Valentine's Day, and it has been six years running. We go to a comedy club. I know that may sound weird. But, it really, really bugs me that a greeting card company tells me when to show some love to the significant other in my life. So, we do something that is the total opposite of a romantic dinner and do the comedy thing.

Last year, the Improv was dark..but this place was open. There is a Fast Eddie's upstairs so you can grab a beer or two and a snack beforehand. This space used to be the Shark Club, so the aquarium on the wall is still there.

Size-wise, this place is bigger than the Improv and the comfy booths are a nice change from the hardback chairs that most comedy clubs have. Lafter's hosts some big names, too.
