Went here because we had a friend in the group who wasn't 21, and wasn't allowed to eat at Publick House.
Safe to say we were extremely surprised because of the availability on a Saturday evening for 5, and an amazing server.
I had the special of the night, which was a pork chop served on a cutting board with creamed corn and a biscuit. The pork was absolutely succulent, cooked with a warm pink center and crispy outer layer. I had my girlfriend's gnocchi too, which completed my requirement of the night for some carbs.
I also ordered a Leffe Blonde, which was one of the lightest beers I've ever tasted, but still extremely flavorful.
All in all, it was a great experience, so I would probably recommend heading over to try this place out if you haven't!
Great neighborhood place! the food is good and we are always greeted with a warm hello.
All food is cooked to order (or so it seems)--it's fresh. I've never had to complain (except for my burger which didn't come as requested. ... hey, it happens!)
The drinks are good and the prices are fair.
The only suggestion would be to get AC. I mean, I'm usually NEVER hot, but this place, whew, it makes me think twice about grabbing a midweek meal here on a warm day. I usually will pass it up.
Other than that--you won't be disappointed and will want to return!!
