Mt. Adams is one of my favorite parts of Cincinnati. I visit often, there are many attractions. Art Museum, sheer views, good food, great parks, excellent playhouse. It is so vividly different than the rest of Cincinnati which makes it so appealing. I regress, Parking is a serious issue, but if you are okay with a nice walk (up stairs, sorry) but a guaranteed spot, park along Riverside Drive and hike up the steps that cross Columbia parkway. This is NOT on the hill. If you're not interested in walking, have Montgomery Inn hail you a cab (It's right there) Mt Adams is best enjoyed walking. Bring your camera and spend half a day on the hill!

Whenever I am in the city of Mount Adams, I feel like I'm in a different world.  Alot of hills, congested, hard to find parking, sometimes a snobby crowd.  I've tried the bars and restuarants and all great experience.
My only advice is if you are coming here for nightlife, definately take a cab.

I have a love / hate relationship with Mount Adams. During the daytime, it is a beautiful neighborhood with lots of delicious, local restaurants. However, aside from a few weeknight plays, I have never had the opportunity to experience the nightlife here. Why? Because every time I go to Mount Adams, I cannot find a place to park.

I planned an early evening with friends from 9:30 - 11:00. After 40 minutes of circling the neighborhood, I was frustrated as this was third time in a month I've tried to come at night and had to leave as there was no parking. Even the garage was full.

My humble regards to anyone who lives here or patrons who manage to find a parking space. The narrow streets are packed bumper-to-bumper on both sides, with nowhere to pull off for oncoming traffic. I'm a savvy city driver, but I can't imagine navigating these streets after the 2:00am crowd leaves the bars.

Perhaps I'm just getting old, but parallel parking, uphill backwards isn't my thing. While Mount Adams has fantastic individual establishments, the neighborhood as a whole is designed more for locals who can walk into town than folks visiting by car. Unfortunately, I am of the latter, and have to say "meh" to this area of Cincinnati.
