This evening was perfect for outdoor seating, so we asked for a table outside. Â We were accommodated and offered the table of our choice.
The waitress was very nice and attentive. Â We received menus and water promptly. Â Then we placed our order for an appetizer and our burgers. Â
The cheese quesadilla was quite good...and the presentation was even nicely done. Â The burgers were good although my rye bread for my patty melt was burnt...no big deal. Â The fries were pretty good.
This place is a good spot to stop for a burger and a drink...service was better than most places, especially for this type of casual establishment. Â
I will be back again. Â :)
The Good:
Convenient Location: Finnegan's is just a walk away from the Woodland Park Office complex and provides a nice change from Pei Wei and Panera.
The So-So:
Decent Food: Honestly the food served here is nothing to write home about., its neither good nor bad. I usually get the grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich comes on an artisan bun with onions, lettuce, tomatoes....and that's it. No sauce, the chicken isn't really seasoned either so it is pretty bland. Â I have also had their club sandwich and that too was pretty meh. Entrees come served with a pickle spear and a decent side of fries.
Moderate Prices: My meal is about $10 plus tax and tip. Not a great value considering how meh the food, but it also isn't outrageous.
The Bad:
Service: Usually it is pretty slow here. If you are wanting to take an hour lunch, you will be pressed for time. Servers I have had range from pretty poor to acceptable. No one that works here seems to have much enthusiasm or go out of their way to provide you a stellar experience.
Lack of Lunch Menu: Honestly, this seems like a no-brainer. You have thousands of hungry office workers within a short walk of your restaurant, yet you don't really have a dedicated lunch menu (occasional specials are offered).
