Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Amazing 1st year wedding anniversary at Flemings! I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff was kind, courteous, attentive and just wonderful!

Our waiter, Zach from the bar area, was fantastic. We sat in a nice booth (it was just my husband and I) and had an amazing meal: french onion soup was the best! We had the filet which melted in our mouths and the new york strip which was equally amazing. And to end the night we had their signature lava cake- YUM!

Throughout the entire meal various wait-staff greeted us and wished us a happy anniversary. The restaurant was not loud (we sat right near the bar area) and the lighting was perfect for a romantic evening.

We will definitely be coming back here!

Oh and the ipad wine list was great!

Service and food is sporadic--sometimes excellent, sometimes dazed and confused as in not being able to handle the volume of customers.  Sometimes the food is spot on.  Other times your steak is overcooked.  Sometimes the steak tastes a little like it was previously frozen.  Good wine.  iPad wine menu is not so good (cumbersome and oddly designed app, although I love the iPad and have a couple of them).  Time to find a mom & pop, organic steakhouse soon.  These chain restaurants just are not good enough, considering the amount of cash expended vs quality and GMO issues.  Clientele is entertaining though--loud mouth, soulless corrupt alpha-male businessmen that all look alike during the weekday and kinder, gentler people on the weekend.

Three words: Prime Rib Special! For $40, you get a salad, their huge prime rib, one side, and dessert. Pretty good value for a fancy steak meal in the area. My waiter was professional and knowledgeable about wines. They have iPads at your table so you can scroll through their drink menu and see the descriptions and recommendations.

Their chocolate lava cake was sugary goodness. Loved the combination of warm Belgian chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Also ordered the fresh berries with cream and had that with the cake. I also received a complimentary box of anniversary chocolates and a $25 giftcard for making a reservation :)
