I simply had to write tonight and tell this story.
We quite enjoy LaRosa's and have for years but tonight they really when over and above when it comes to customer service.
We have a son who is on the autism spectrum and one of his issues is food, particularly textures.  He doesn't  do sauces, condiments, puddings. Food have to be solid or liquid.  As he's grown older he's tried to expand his food range and in the last six months has tried pizzas with no sauce. It may no sound like much but this is a big step for him.
Tonight when my husband put in our order the manager called to double-check that we meant to have no sauce on the pizza. I explained my son's situation. When the pizza was delivered they gave us their in-store phone number in case David didn't like the pizza. Â That kind of kindness you don't see all the time any more.
That type of kindness deserves loyalty.
Some of the lettuce in my salad looked about a week old, and whoever washed it forgot to dry it off, because by the time I got to the bottom, it was more like lettuce soup than salad. The calzone was pretty mediocre. The only good thing was that the lunch special was $6.99. Guess you get what you pay for.
