This was a great little spot but is now a victim of the economy. Rumors are a Pizza dabomba is going in at their old location.

This is a nice little surprise in Covington! It's small but doesn't seem to get crowded, and the space is nice, airy, and modern. The menu isn't huge, but everything seemed fresh and tasty. I loved my sandwich and thought it was the perfect amount for lunch. However, when I asked my husband about it, his take was that the portion seemed small to him, though he couldn't remember what he ordered. So take that for what you will. In any case, good place for an occasional lunch off the beaten path. The food does seem to take its time though, so plan accordingly.

I promised myself I wouldn't use the phrase "hidden gem" in a Yelp review anymore unless I really, really, really ... really meant it.

And so, I found this hidden gem, tucked away in Covington, And you need to go there.

Honestly, this place opened with no fanfare whatsoever. I wouldn't have even heard of it except that everyone who works around the area in Covington loves it (and the Yelp reviews were insane.) Located in the nowhere part of the city on 14th street (right next to Club Venus), you'd never know this place existed unless you searched it out.

You should go seek it out right now.

It's a tiny one room cafe with less than 10 tables that's open for lunch only. There is a chalkboard menu only and you order at the counter - but oh what a menu: Delicious homemade salads, soups so good they ran out before we could try it, and sandwiches that will blow your mind. I got the  Grilled White Cheddar, which had green apples, apple butter and  white cheddar on  cinnamon raisin bread from Shadeau Bakery. What? Yes! I also tried some of the hummus and veggie sandwich that my friend got and it was equally as delicious.

The sandwhiches come as a nice platter with salad and chips and makes for a delicious lunch, and for all under $7! Damn.

The decorations are wonderfully weird. It's mostly blank walls except a group of framed images in the corner, which has everything from painted pictures of little girls, horses, prints of skulls, wolfs with Shakespeare quotes (where the name come from) and more. Very strange, very fun.

I feel secure in my use of the "hidden gem" phrase. Go forth and seek it out.
