Is it really necessary to review an institution like this?  Well, since I'm an out of towner, I figure why not?  The customer service here is really great, they even gave me a little goody bag when they heard it was my first time.

I went with the four way (onions instead of beans at the consideration for those who will soon be sitting near me), it came out in less than five minutes, perfect if you want an early morning meal before running off to catch a flight (assuming you don't have a sensitive stomach, especially while flying).  I think a small is a perfect size for a light lunch as the portions are definitely generous given the prices.

I haven't tried any of the coneys yet, but it'll be on the list for my next trip.  Regardless, if you're visiting Cincinnati, this has to be one of your meals...

Thoroughly impressed by the level of customer service here. Very nice, aunt-like servers that gave us small samples and tied bibs around our necks when we told them it was our first time in Cincinnati!  The concept of a 3-way is very very similar to spaghetti and cheese with chili instead of meat sauce, but doesn't look very appetizing....until you try it.  Flavors actually play really well with each other, especially if you get the habanero cheese (which you really should). I find the chili a little watery compared to what I've been used to, but I would recommend that you try Gold Star Chili as well, and then compare and contrast.

This particular location isn't open on Sundays, and is open only for about 4 hours or so on Saturday.

BTW: if you like the chili, know that you can get a can at any local supermarket for about $4...pricey but if you're visiting, it's a very local gift for your friends back home.

    Something's not right here.

The cheese wasn't as fluffy and delicate as usual. The chili was just luke warm. The cheese coneys were sloppily assembled, with a droopy bottom and hot dog cascading out of the bun. All of the chili ended up in the bottom of my to go box.

With a half-dozen Skylines in walking distance Downtown, I'll be taking my business up the street.

This is the best Skyline Chili in town! Dare I say better than Clifton or Oakley? I dare!

I eat here at least once a week. The women who wait tables here are always friendly, and put a high emphasis on customer service. They're always fast, but never grouchy - even during lunch rush. Everyone who works here goes out of their way to make sure your experience is satisfactory.

If you want the real Cincinnati chili, head down to the Skyline at 7th and Vine before the game and grab a 3-way and a coney.

And remember to tip well! This is a locally-owned and operated franchise.

Service is always great here and I'm a fan of the Greek Chicken Wrap.  They also have nice and crispy fries.  The chili is average but I'll get it in a pinch.

This Skyline location is always really busy as it is downtown.  I had a regular 5-way and a cheese coney, all with their extreme habanero cheese.  The service was fast and the food was hot.

I eat here almost every week. I swear the chili is better at this location compared to other Skylines. The service is consistently quick and friendly. It's my favorite Skyline location.

here every Thursday for lunch rain or shine.  Well not every Thursday, sometimes I'm out of town.  Staff is crazy but a lot of fun.  I do miss the old manager Brian, he used to come talk to us all the time and constantly try and get in on our euchre game.

Went to skyline with a friend who's a local. Here's the deal. Spaghetti, a sweet savory chili (cinnamon and chocolate are elements, along with the beef), an option of beans or onions, and holy hell, a lot of shredded cheddar on top. Key thing to remember: the cheese is *not a topping*. It is part of the dish. Also, the Coneys. Hot dog with mustard and onions, topped with the same chili and heaps of cheese. I got seconds.

I had heard a lot about skyline chili, and had an adulterated, homemade  version several years ago in New Mexico (long story, ask me sometime), but I was thoroughly pleased and satisfied with my experience, and I will be back any time I'm in Cincinnati for sure.

It was my first time to Cincinnati and I was told that I had to eat at Skyline.  I did and it was pretty good.  The spices were pretty good, but I'm not used to eating chili without beans.  Still, it wasn't disappointing.

When visiting Cincinnati, one thing you can try is eat chili over spaghetti and Skyline Chili Restaurants is the most popular place (as far as I know) for it.  My friend and I walked in and were not sure how to order. The lady at the register was super nice and very helpful. She told me to take a seat and a server will be helping us. Because we're first-timers, she talked about their signature dishes.

I tried the 3-way chili (which is the chili over spaghetti with lots of cheese on top) and the cheese coney dog. I didn't really know what to expect, tastewise, but I actually enjoyed it. The bread on the coney dog was so soft and the 3-way chili was quite good.

This place felt like a mom-n-pop fast food. We received great customer service and were very pleased with the experience. Although we liked our food, I don't see myself eating this everyday. I did get a couple of cans so I can have my family try it.
