Had a great time at Stats! Â It was the perfect way to end my weekend in Boston. Â We arrived around 10:30pm on Sunday night and it was the right kind of crowded. Â Made our way to the bar and ordered the first round. Â Quick, attentive service from the bartender. Â
We moseyed our way to the upper level and grabbed a table in the far left corner, overlooking the bar. Â Let me tell you, this is a fantastic bar for people (read: guy) watching. Â There was a beautiful crowd below for the four of us (best friends from high school) to observe. Â Not to belabor the point but there were honestly four dudes for every lady. Â Now I'm a happily taken girl, but those odds are ever in your favor. Â
At the table, we had a really sweet server who helped us the rest of the night. Â She made small-talk with us and it ended up that we had an acquaintance in common. Small world! Â Loved how she took a few extra minutes from her busy night to connect with us.
Neighborhood bar feel with a good-looking crowd and great service. Â How can you go wrong?
Stats is one of my favorite bars in Southie. I tend to avoid it on the weekends but love trivia Tuesdays! Their salads are surprisingly good and creative -- weirdly enough Stats is my favorite place in all of Boston to get a salad. The other food on the menu consists of your standard pub fare and is pretty decent.
They don't have too much going on in terms of unique beer, but do have a $3 monthly special which usually features something decent (Sam Alpine Spring, Brooklyn Summer, etc).
Definitely a good place to grab dinner or watch a game in Southie!
