I have had Streetpops numerous times at a variet of events (yelp, Celestial Ball, CityFlea, etc.) and I was never disapointed.

After a sushi making class on Main, Streetpops was open so my lady and I decided to stop by for a little sweet! We both selected the Pumpkin Pop, I like to call it P^2. This Streetpop was glorious, it was like the took a piece of Grandma's pumpkin pie froze it and put it on a stick. The only thing that was mising was cool whip.

I've had streetpops out of their mobile cart more than their brick and mortar store. But the idea of a boutique popsicle shop intrigues me. Unconventional and complex flavors are made accessible in a format that everyone loves. Score!

I popped into the store this past weekend for MPMF where they were selling empanadas. My friend partook in the Cincinnati Chili empanada and was really pleased with them.  Perhaps in the winter months they can keep interest up by periodically doing these little street food forays.

    I'll settle for the pops.

The first time I had Streetpops was at one of the first City Fleas in the American Can Lofts in Northside. Just a lone little white cart and a woman selling popsicles. I'm so happy there is now a store front!

Street Pops are really delicious and the concept reminds me of People's Pops in NYC... but better. I know 3+ dollars for a popsicle seems crazy, but if you are anything like me and still like to indulge in things that remind you of being a kid, then you will enjoy spending your cash here. There are dairy and non-dairy pops, and I've had a few of them: honey bourbon vanilla (dairy), chocolate sea salt (dairy), ginger peach lambic (non-dairy), and pineapple habanero (non-dairy and an adventure to consume before it melts). I love that the flavors are so non-vanilla and fun. I also just found out that they sometimes offer an horchata pop and that basically makes my brain want to explode.

You can find Street Pops at their store front or around town. I've seen them at Findlay Market pretty frequently too. Nom on!

I almost gave this a 3 star but didn't want to get banned from Yelp (half-joking).

These are definitely delicious and obviously homemade popsicles. The flavors are somewhat unique. Would I go back? Sure... if I was in the area, and in the mood, and the people I was with wanted to go, and, and, and, and. The point is, it's good but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to return. Personal preference, I guess, as everyone else I've spoken to raves about these streetpops like they're the cure for cancer and the end of poverty. Try them for yourself and see what you think.

All of the flavors sound delicious and it is always a challenge to choose just one. So why not choose more than one?  Plum Basil is incredibly refreshing on a hot day, and Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake would satisfy any dessert craving.  I do think $3 is a bit expensive for one popsicle, but the Streetpop will never fail to impress, so I may as well go for one (or two).  Stop by the shop in OTR or find them at the many farmer's markets or flea markets around Cincinnati (Second Sunday, City Flea, Findlay Market Farmer's Market, etc.)

Had the Pear Cardamom popsicle... tasted exactly like eating a pear. Absolutely loved it. Now, if I could only find the Streetpops cart on a more consistent basis...

Every once in a while, when I'm in the mood, I love to have a good sucking... on a nice... long... thick... juicy...

popsicle (don't be disgusting, you sickos!). I love the way the sweet juice runs down my parched throat on a cool Final Friday or second Sunday! Only Streetpops can provide such a suggestive and fantastical experience. I like my popsicles like I like my coffee... actually I don't because I've never had a coffee flavored popsicle. But! If Streetpops offered me a coffee flavored pop, that stupid idiom could change. I love the peach and the lime pops the most. I've never been to the storefront, but the carts are always out. I think street pops is super clever and extremely delicious.

    What's not to love?

They have great flavors which rotate often-this is great unless you've got a hankering for a peanut butter popsicle and you walk in only to find it's not on that day's list.  O well, things like Ohio sweet corn, thai basil, avocado, key lime, and chocolate cayenne will make it easy to find something to enjoy.

The staff are super friendly, conversational, and helpful; and you can find them with their carts around town everywhere (it seems)!

It is a little expensive for a popsicle ($3-$4), but totally worth it for the tastiness and support of the local folks.

Streetpops are awesome! I always think it would be fun to make crazy flavored popsicles at home in my freezer, but then I usually take a nap instead. With Streetpops, they have the inspiration, you reap the rewards.

I've only ever had them at events out of the cart, but I hear they have premises now. Let's see, I've had the habenero pineapple, sugar free watermelon, basil and strawberry, just to name a few. I always try to pick the oddest one on the menu, and I never regret it (although the habenero was pretty spicy).

    Check them out!

I love this place! The perfect place to go to in the afternoon, and in the early hours of the night. The flavors, which they are always changing, that I would recommend are:

Key Lime (I'm a sucker for a good Key Lime)
    Thai Basil
    Hibiscus Mint

I found out about these from the Yelp's After School Special

A def. place that you should stop by when visiting OTR and Cincinnati!

I don't know how they do it, but they do it well. This was seriously hands down the best popsicle-ish treat ever. I had the Peaches-n-Cream pop and it was amazing. You could taste the fresh peaches in it! I will definitely be back.

I had my first Streetpop when I visited City Flea. While I didn't really adore anything at City Flea, I did love the Streetpop that I ate while checking out all the goods! I got a rhubarb cardamom flavored one, and my friend got a hibiscus-and-something-else flavored one, and both were super refreshing for a hot afternoon.

I'm definitely a fan, and I'm glad that Streetpops are bringing some quirky food cart pizzazz to the area!

Streetpops is the one and only Cincinnati popsicle purveyor currently taking my stomach by storm.

    Avocado Coconut
    Thai Basil Lime
    Apricot Chamomile

These unusual concoctions are somehow creative and a constant hit.  I have yet to find a flavor that disappoints.  Streetpops is reasonably priced ($2-3), and conveniently located at the top of Main.

These little freezers have been popping up all over the city: Asian Food Fest, Celestial Ball, and many more!  This is an excellent decision on those thick Cincinnati summer days.

MMM. Gourmet Popsicles a block from house could be dangerous.  I had my first streetpop last year and have been hooked ever since.  These are the perfect treat on a hot summer day.  I have tried a number of the flavor combinations and have never been disappointed.

As for the storefront on main street, they have kept the space simple while providing plenty of seating for enjoying your pop either inside or outside.  This cash only location also sells a variety of beverages to compliment.

As an Over-the-Rhine resident, I've had StreetPops on my to-try list for a while. My first experience did not disappoint! I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff who even humored my little 3 year-old niece who went on and on about how great her StreetPop was. We tried the avocado and strawberry mint and both were delicious. I expected a little less sweetness from the avocado but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

The interior of Streetpops is clean and simple, with a chalkboard displaying current flavors. Two benches outside offer additional seating if you choose to stick around and enjoy your pop. The price was fair: $3 for a regular size and $2 for a small and your order gets rung up on an iPad. Pretty cool.

I will definitely be visiting Streetpops again!

This place should be a new Cincinnati institution.

Street pops now has a store front. It's the old Fork-Heart-Knife location and the charm of F-H-K seems to have carried over to S-P-.

This is simply a great popsicle. I went Friday and Sunday! On Friday I had a spicy orange honey pop. It was wonderful. I have no idea how they manage those flavors at that cost. I could taste orange. I could taste honey. I could taste spice. It wasn't an ephemeral flavor either. It wasn't sucked out quickly leaving flavorless ice. The joy went right to the stick.

They're great also for their quirky flavors. Sure orange spicy honey is an unusualy flavor but on Sunday I tried Beet and Blood orange. Yeah, not my favorite but it's hard to hold it against Street Pops. They did put Beet right in the title. But still. I felt like I was eating beets sweetened with blood oranges. Again, not my favorite but I did finish it.

That's the thing. I like that they have the gumption to offer a street pop with the word beet not only in the flavor but in the title. Good for them. I imagine great things coming out of that little shop.

I'm always the last to know about cool, new things but thank goodness for Yelp (and Alex's review).  My husband and I had some time to kill before heading to the Aronoff and stopped by Streetpops for a nice, refreshing treat.  He isn't the most adventurous eater out there so we got him something "normal" - Chocomint - while I got the Strawberry Mint.  I'm glad I took a bite out of his first because he devoured that thing in a heartbeat.

Both flavors tasted exactly like they sounded but better.  Fresh ingredients (and a nice, creamy chocolate) infused with a bright burst of mint - the perfect answer to a balmy, hot day.

I'll be bringing a cooler next time and buying one of each flavor for a fun taste test at home.  To be continued!

Cucumber Jalapeno, Peach Siracha, Pineapple Habanero, Chocolate Creme Brulee Stout, Vietnamese Coffee, Horchata. Sounds good right? Sounds expensive also, right? Well, jokes on you because these items aren't menu items at Jean-Robert's Table. They are actually flavors of popsicles. As many reviews have already stated, these sure as heck aren't your grandmother's popsicle's and nothing against granny but, I am glad.

The first time I had a Streetpop was at a Second Sunday on Main St. I was confused and interested all at the same time. I thought to myself "it's a popsicle, I've got those at home". Fortunately, I forced myself to give it a shot. I still thank my inner conscience for making the correct decision because I feel that I couldn't live without a Streetpop every once in a while, still to this day.

Finally, they moved into the old (bittersweet) ForkHeartKnife building right at the end of my road. Dangerous location for me. I still had only tried a basic popsicle from their cart and was excited when their stand-alone finally opened on Main.

I attended the soft opening and tasted all in one night the Chocolate Sea Salt, Pineapple Habanero, Rasberry Swirl Cheesecake and another Chocolate Sea Salt (I enjoyed it...obviously.) Let's just say, I've found my new favorite dessert location.

You must be thinking that these chemist like concoctions must cost an arm and a leg. Well, sorry, you can't criticize the price so find something else because they only cost $2 for a small and $3 for a big. That's a price that anyone can afford. Anyone.

Needless to say, Streetpops is a home run. Not only do they offer up innovative flavors at a super low cost but the flavors are always changing. Whatever the season, holiday, or event going on you'll be sure to find a flavor associated with it. This is what makes Streetpops so special and such a great addition to Cincinnati.

Look for their carts roaming around the city. If you can't find them you will most assuredly find them on Main and Liberty in OTR and most assuredly find them to be the best popsicle you've ever had. In fact, lets not call it a popsicle, that doesn't give it justice. Let's instead call is a SuperSicle...yeah, that'll work.

STREETPOPS! STREETPOPS! READ ALL ABOUT IT!

The answer to everything. Bad day? Get a Streetpop! Good day? Celebrate with a Streetpop!

Because I live downtown and I am active in the community people ask me for advice on where to go and I usually start by suggesting Streetpops. Simply because it has something for everyone. Are you a stuck up food snob? Get the Thai-Basil. Are you picky? Get the Raspberry Lemonade. Adventurous? Try the Pineapple Haberno. Savory? Get the Strawberry Cheesecake with real Graham cracker swirls!

Also, the menu changes seasonally so there are always new and excited flavors to try. If you are a bad picker like myself, go for the best sellers, or whatever they recommend you really can't go wrong they are all delicious!

Enough salivating, there are more reasons than just good flavors to come here. Streetpops is part of the original revitalization of Over the Rhine and surrounding communities. There presence in the community does not go unnoticed. I always love seeing them whether it be at Second Sunday's, the City Flea or at their awesome NEW store on Main Street it is always a pleasure. The employees are always friendly and greet you with a smile. The owner Sara, is fresh-faced and passionate about the brand she has created.

So go ahead, indulge in what is now a Cincinnati staple. You won't be disappointed!

I LOVE Streetpops! Popsicles made with fresh local ingredients? Yes please! I've tried a couple of the pops last year from the street cart at different events, but really fell in love with Streetpops when they opened a store on Main street and started serving mini pops. What a great idea. I'm the sort of person that likes sweets, but in small amounts. Their mini popsicle is the perfect size. And it's only $2! But just a heads up, they only serve the minis at the store, not at the carts. I popped in the store one day and got a mini of every flavor I could. I took them home and stored them in my freezer. I highly suggest you do this, but make sure you take a picture of the flavors on the board so you can remember what is what. All of them were amazing, but my favorites were Coconut, Avocado, Caramello, Blackberry Honey and Orange Spiced Honey. Yum! I'm really looking forward to what flavor concoction she'll come up with next.

The owner is a sweetie and super nice. My only complaint about the place is that they close at 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Hopefully once they get busier, they will stay open later on the weekends. It sure would be nice to pick up a pop after dinner. Until then, I'll just keep a bag of them in my freezer ;)

Love the blackberry honey and the key lime, and my miniature Dachshund, Peanut, is partial to the coconut ( I gave her a lick and she bit off half the pop and scarfed it in one gulp)  We live a block away from the shop so it has become an evening ritual to go for a walk and a pup-sicle. Peanut says " Two paws up!"  and I agree.

I was very upset that I missed the grand opening of Streetpops on Final Friday, but I found my way down the street to sample a caramel popsicle and I have to say, it was fantastic! By the end of that popsicle I was craving a cold glass of water (as I do with ice cream), but still really enjoyed it. The caramel may be a little too much for some people, but I think it was great.

A couple of concerns about the store:

    1) They don't have a huge selection of popsicles in the store on any given day. I wish there was a slightly larger selection, though I understand that these are made in small batches and are not mass produced/stored.

    2) They should sell a couple of other things in the store like hot chocolate (when it gets colder), coffee, and maybe some of that Phro*Zen vegan ice cream!

Hopefully I start seeing the Streetpops spring up in local grocery stores and shops, but it would also be great to have other products in the store on Main Street. Also, more hours would be fantastic!

Keep up the great work! I love the imaginative flavors (any plans on a Hudepohl Amber Lager pop?)!

I am shocked that it's taken me this long to review Streetpops. I thought I hit them up years ago.

I should have to because legend has it, I actually bought the first Streetpop ever sold. It was back when I was living in Over-the-Rhine and on one particularly hot summer's day, I walk out of my apartment and find a race going on. And there, near the booth vendors, was a little white popsicle cart with a green logo.

Streetpops? What the hell is a Streetpop?

Turns out it's a gourmet popsicle with flavors like chocolate chili and blueberry merlot. Um, yes! I bought one right there and it was amazing. It was so good, I had to tweet about it one handed, as the other was holding my treat (and becoming disgusting as the popsicle melted all over due to the heat.)

Flash forward to today and not only does Streetpops have a ton of carts that show up at festivals, they just opened their first store in Over-the-Rhine (how fitting!) in the old forkheartknife space. It's a cute small shop with a counter, an open kitchen behind it, a freezer full of pops and a chalkboard saying what flavors they have.

Small pops are $2 and large pops are $3 and they are all amazing. I've never had one here I didn't love. The lemon buttermilk, the sea-salt chocolate, the cheesecake. My god, Sara the owner is a frozen genius.

Go here. Go here now. You will not be disappointed.

Came here for the Yelp meets the owner event, it was on a some what cool Monday night. Even on a cool night more than 40 Yelpers showed up and ate some awesome Popsicles.  I had the pineapple haberno first and loved it, the flavors were great together.  My second Popsicle from the cream based was the avocado and it was delicious as well, I think to make it pop just a little more just add lime juice.

The owners were so nice and cool, they commented to me that I must love street pops to which I replied Yes.

The neighborhood isn't the safest, but keep to yourself and watch your surroundings and everything will be fine.

::- On a side note, I got hit by a car when I was walking back to my car from the Streetpops event. I was walking in the crosswalk when the idiot driver who had a red light stepped on the gas.

I was invited to the yelp! event on March 26th to give the new retail location a try. As an OTR resident I must say, I AM SO HYPED ON STREETPOPS!!!!

I'm am a little worried, it is only 2 blocks from my apartment. I don't know if I have the willpower to say no when it is that convenient. Hopefully the owner will see I have a problem and cut me off after 10 a day.

As far as the treats go, there are 2 menus. A cream based menu priced at 3 bucks a pop and a fruit based menu priced at 2. With prices this low and pops this good world domination must be streetpops ultimate goal.

Streetpops is a great addition to Main street. Next time you are in the neighborhood stop buy and grab one! I promise you won't regret it!

I am a fan of Street Pops. I love the product and of course I love supporting gay local business owners in the community. It is nice to see these two ladies rockin' the city with popsicles.

These popsicles defy the boundaries for all popsicles. The flavors are all very unique and fresh. I have made it a point to get a different popsicles every time I visit the street car. Out of all the flavors I will say that no Popsicle is as amazing as Key Lime Pie. It was the best. The Popsicle was so flavorful and creamy. Every time I stop by the cart that is the first flavor that I ask for. I love these pops so much I wish they would make them in bulk so I can buy some and keep a pack of these in my freezer.

I also would love if they could put the nutritional information on these bad boys. Should I be careful about consuming lots of these or are they surprising low in calories (I am dreaming this up I am sure) that I could eat 50 of them and still fit in my jeans......

My advice to you- Next time you see a Street Pop stand, hurry on over and check it yourself.

I enjoy Street Pops, and the Street Pops ladies are super friendly.
I wish they offered more vegan options.  Some flavors sound great, but aren't vegan when they easily could be.  I know they are working on that though.  Some flavors are great, some are unique, some are ehh.  The raspberry lemonade is fantastic, I like the strawberry mint despite not loving mint, the avocado is interesting.  But cucumber jalapeno someone mentioned, and a few others I have seen- no thanks.  I would take a cucumber melon, blueberry ginger, peach and mango, even a plain strawberry or a chili chocolate if it were vegan.  I like being unique and doing different things, but would like some flavors that are more traditional too.

My boyfriend and I first tried Streetpops at a the Yelp Eats Iron Chef Cook-Off and fell in love. They were the best thing we tasted all night (and we had A LOT of delicious stuff that night!) He got avocado and I got cucumber jalapeño (which is wonderfully cool and hot at the same time). Soon after, we tromped around Pride Fest searching for them so that we could have more. I will definitely be indulging whenever I go to Findlay or an events with Streetpops in the future. The flavors are so creative and well-done. This is gormet food and it's well worth the price.

What is better on a hot summer day than a popsicle? Streetpops! I have tried three flavors and all have been delicious. The Horchata was a great representation of the Mexican drink - giving the pop a bit of a creamy texture. Another option is the Chocolate Chili - another creamy concoction featuring one of my all time flavor combinations. Chocolate Chili isn't a flavor available just anywhere, but if you are willing to be a tiny bit adventurous give it a try. Like heat but not the creamy? The cucumber jalapeno is extremely tasty. I will warn that while I thought it was fresh and satisfying, some of my friends who have tried it thought it might have been a little too spicy.

So happy that I'm seeing this little cart more places around town so I can keep working my way through the list of flavors! And these are not two sticks popsicles, which works for me because they are so good, I don't want to share.

Streetpops saves the day! I was following them via Facebook and discovered they would be set up at Fountain Square while I was running a booth. It was a squelching summer afternoon, so I messaged them asking if they could arrive earlier. They did! They also asked what flavors of pops should be stocked, as they had yet to pack the cooler. And guess what? They brought both flavors I wanted to try! How awesome is that?

I highly recommend the Lemon-Blueberry Thyme, which adds a little bit of kick to your standard frozen fruit pop. The Chocolate Chili Pepper had just enough spicy to compliment the cocoa. My colleague raved about the Vietnamese Coffee flavor (and he's had the real thing in Vietnam.) All the pops stayed in tact on the stick even in 90º weather.

Thanks Streetpops for cooling us down with your tasty delights!

Streetpops is a local Popsicle stand that appears around town at local events with a cart full of their amazing frozen creations. They rent kitchen space from a local restaurant and get to work making Popsicles from all natural ingredients.

I was able to catch up with them at Findlay market and then again a few days later at  cityflea and each time I tried a couple of flavors. These flavors range from classics to some that are more gourmet in style. I tried their pear, cucumber/Jalapeño and avocado/ lime. My favorite is defiantly the avocado/lime. It has a richness to it but then a nice zing from the lime.

Each one costs 3 dollars but is worth it. Its one of those foods that you get and walk around with for awhile while enjoying a park or show. It's an amazing cool treat for a hot day and I hope they have success in the future and are an example for other local culinary start-ups trying to make a mark.

Between a Yelp event and the City Flea, I've gotten my hands on the Avocado flavor as well as Strawberry-Mint. Both events were disgustingly humid and sticky, so I was praising the heavens that a popsicle vendor was present.

I love these popsicles and will be keeping an eye out for them all over the city. Every time someone mentions a flavor they've sampled, it's always a new one I've not heard of... I'm hoping to hunt them all down eventually!

Maybe it's just that they didn't have any good flavors last night at Yelp Eats, but I tried the cucumber jalapeno (it was the most refreshing sounding of the lot) and it was not very good.  2 stars for an interesting idea, but I expect popsicles to be refreshing, not to send me looking for a glass of water.

I tried my first Streetpop at the GoOTR 5K celebration after I'd finished my 3.1 mile run. It was a VERY hot day and after sweating my butt off, a popsicle sounded awesome.

I had never heard of them and upon telling that to the woman selling the pops, she said it was their first time selling in the public. What a treat to be one of the first people to try a Streetpop and support yet another local business!

The menu had about 8 different flavors from the friendly-sounding strawberry-lime to the more unique avocado. I tried the pineapple-coconut which is one of their many vegan flavors. I absolutely LOVED the flavor, which was reminiscent of a pina colada, but my throat was really scratchy afterwards... I think it was because of the frozen coconut flakes.

Though I won't get that flavor again, I will continue to support this business and I implore everyone else to, as well!
