    MMMMMmmmmmm!

So everyone who loves sweets MUST try the cinnamon glazed dessert knots.  They are absolutely scrumptious and a little piece of heaven on earth.  No exaggeration, seriously.

I must go back and try a pretzel sandwich though. I wasn't too impressed with the plain pretzel, though it was a little cold when I got it back to my office.  I'm sure if I ate it hot and fresh it would have been absolutely delectable.  So, I'll let you know once I try it. But really - go get a glazed knot.  Just not on Mondays.

I found this restaurant by accident, very unique with fresh baked pretzels as the bread for their sandwiches and  cinnamon knots, etc... I was in the mood for a rueben, which they made for me, but it was far from a traditional rueben as there was no rye bread, very little sauer kraut and finely diced (processed?) corned beef that was a barely recognizable taste. The pretzel was light and buttery and the sandwich overall was good in a 'snacky' kind of way, it included a bag of chips and sides like pickles and toppings. If was extremely reasonable, my whole lunch with iced tea was less than $6! You order at the counter, and I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that you mark your own order on a sheet of paper, quick, convenient and less chance of error! It is a smallish, tea room feeling kind of place. I will definitely go back and try more menu items, especially the cinammon knots, the place smells like heaven!

I've been wanting to go here for a while as I have always loved Servatii's pretzel sandwiches. Twisted Sister's pretzel for the sandwich is bit sweeter and isn't as thick so it's much easier to eat. The meat wasn't as good as Servatii's but wasn't bad. The cinnamon glazed knots were absolutely delicious.

We called in our food so I'm not sure how long people normally have to wait but when I waited to pick up my order, it certainly seemed like things aren't too speedy there. So beware that you might want to call in your order or go when you're not in a hurry. I was also a bit surprised by how small the place is. It is VERY cramped. People waiting in line and people who have placed their order don't know what to do.  It's near impossible not to be in the way of somebody.

I had never heard of pretzel sandwiches till I had one during a lunch meeting at work.  OMG they are great.  I had the roast beef.  The bread was fresh and the thing tasted awesome.  It came with chips and a cookie and wasn't too pricey.  We have ordered them several time since for similar work functions and are having them again tomorrow.  YUM.

I had no idea what a pretzel sandwich was but when I tried it I was impressed. The feel and salt of the bread really added something nice to the flavor and texture of the sandwich.

    And it didn't cost much.

And the staff was very friendly and I left with my wallet and stomach feeling great.

I love pretzels. I love deli sandwiches. I love Twisted Sisters Cafe.

Twisted Sisters located in the Belleview business district. If you ever saw the giant pretzel sign, that is Twister Sisters. I didn't really know what it was until I came onto yelp and saw it was a cafe that serves pretzel sandwiches. Once I saw what it was I knew I had to visit.

On the inside it doesn't look like a sandwich shop, it has more of a coffee shop look. It is small and cozy. The two "twisted" sisters actually work there and are very friendly.

The food was very tasty. Instead of a pretzel bun they use actual fresh baked pretzels as the bread. The pretzels are tasty on their own as well as acting as the bread for a sandwich. The meats and cheeses on my sandwich were also tasty, only negative was they only used one slice of each meat. Next time I return I will ask for double meat.

If you are looking for a non-traditional sandwich shop or just want some fresh baked pretzels, I highly recommend Twister Sisters.

Delicious sandwiches in the most darling, little parlor you've ever seen.  These pretzel sandwiches are not like what you get at most places.  Instead of the pretzel/bread hybrid that you more typically see, Twisted Sisters uses a salty, buttery authentic pretzel for their sandwiches.  It's melt in your mouth delicious.

The staff is super friendly, and the prices are reasonable.  Nice restaurant!

Great cozy little place. Their sandwiches are perfect. I have had pretzel sandwiches several places, but none of them compare to these. The pretzels are nice and soft with just the right amount of salt. Very friendly staff. Can't wait to go back.

Twisted Sisters is a quaint little eclectic nook. I loved this place. From the soda shop chairs to the vintage soda machine. The food was AMAZING! Pretzel sandwiches are what we had. I am not joking when I say AMAZING! I have been raving about this place ever since we left.
I also had a bowl of soup and it was fabulous as well. I am not sure if it was home made or not but if it wasn't I would be shocked. It was so good. The ladies working were so super sweet. I want to become a regular here.

Twisted Sisters, contrary to the name's equity, is a darling nook in an increasingly darling district. Their pretzel bread is decadent and buttery (or at least seems so). Aside from the bread, the sandwiches aren't remarkable or inventive but they're tasty, which wins the day. Would appreciate a selection of accompaniments aside from chips, but it seems their kitchen space is quite limited. It's a nice Northern KY lunch option.

When I think of pretzel places, I think of those chain establishments you find in the mall or airport.  Hence the reason why someone can be skeptical of a local pretzel shop opening up in Bellevue along the bustling Fairfield Avenue shopping district.  Rest assured, this local pretzel establishment rises to the challenge.

Run by two sisters, Twisted Sisters sets out to get at least one thing right, the pretzel, which is the core of their business.  In addition to offering your standard fare of pretzels, they also offer a differing assortment of specialty pretzels.  I would recommend the cinnamon/sugar knots, they're great tasting and it's easy to lose track of how many you ate when eating a box.  I could eat a box...or 2!

The other thing they excel at is the pretzel sandwich.  I typically order the Spicy Italian and it is glorious.  It definitely takes a regular sandwich to the next level.  Another favorite is the chicken salad sandwich.  You get to choose what you want on your pretzel sandwich by filling out a handy sheet which makes ordering a breeze, and ensures that the kind ladies in the back know exactly what you want.

Overall, Twisted Sisters gets the job done and more.  Definitely check them out next time you're out for lunch or at Bellevue's First Friday, where they have dinner hours.
