Only one visit so just a first impression. Main reason for three stars instead of two is location. I think I would have loved this place in my early 20's/college days. Â It's a good location on Boylston and close to Fenway. Â It's very big with both up and downstairs area. Â We were lucky to get a high-top table in the front window which, on a warm evening with the windows open, was great. Â Bummer was that municipality makes them close those windows after 11pm.
We were there after the Jason Aldean concert so it got packed but I must say, for how buys it was, our waitress was awesome and we never really waited to get drinks.
Probably my biggest gripe was the music. Â From what I could tell, they only had a juke box which rotated between the cliche Irish pub music of Dropkick Murphy's (which I like but enough with it in Irish Pubs!) and other heavier rock. Â If they could have even just played a decent Pandora station or something, it would have been a better vibe...maybe I'm just getting old :)

Searched up and down Boylston on a Thursday night for a good, crowded place to grab a drink with friends. Finally, I walked past McGreevy's, which looked bumping so I went inside. Great people, good staff, and an all-around good time. I would definitely recommend it for a fun Thursday night out.
Review Source:I really like McGreevy's for a few reasons. Their food is really good, I've had the nachos (once they were amazing, once they were not so much), the veggie burger which is fantastic (served with waffle fries, can't beat waffle fries, they make any dish brighter!), and the smoked salmon plate with a bloody for their "Brunch with Benefits" which, as I've said before, was great. They have a good beer selection with good prices to match and they have specials almost every night of the week and each one is a fantastic deal. Sometimes the service isn't awesome, but overall it's better than a lot of other places I've been. This is definitely a staple place for me and is great for a casual good time. Keep it up McGreevy's!
Review Source:this is a decent spot for cheap beers and a laid-back atmosphere in the back bay. there are 3 strategically placed bars which cater to the crowds in the front, back, and downstairs, and so the lines are never too long. there are a fair amount of tables to accommodate groups ordering food or who are staying for a while.
the food is typical bar fare, but will definitely do you right. be sure to get the waffle fries, and you won't go wrong with a burger or sandwich.
Ok McGreevy's, we've had our good times, but wtf was up with your service during the Syracuse vs Michigan game? Ok, I guess I'll get to that in a second...
I went here for brunch a while ago and got their waffle fries dish listed at the bottom of the menu. Only I swapped out the sausage gravy (I don't eat pork) with hollandaise sauce. Holy moley, was it amazing. Waffle fries, hollandaise sauce, fried eggs, and scallions. YES PLEASE!! Add in an extra spicy bloody mary and you've got a happy Chelsea, or a happy anyone for that matter.
However, the night of the Syracuse game, I came here with some friends to watch the game. We found a small table in the corner downstairs and set up shop. I was a fungry fungry hippo, so I was hellbent on ordering some buffalo chicken nachos, so we flagged down a waitress who told us she'd be right back. An hour later, we flagged her down again as she was giving someone near us food, and she said she couldn't take our order because she was swamped, then she took an order from the person next to us. We tried, and tried, and tried to order those damn nachos, but to no avail. Every waitress gave us a different excuse about why they couldn't serve us. I felt completely discriminated against because no sooner would they tell us they weren't taking orders, but then they'd get someone else's order and bring them their food. Finally I flagged down one of the kitchen staff to ask if we could please order. He pretended to help us, then told us 45 minutes later we'd have to order at the bar. So about 4 and a half hours later we finally got our nachos, and they were one of the worst things I've ever eaten/seen in my entire life. But I ate them anyways, because my emergency Odwalla bar I keep in my purse didn't do much to help with my hunger.
I get that it was a busy night, but McGreevy's, you're a sports bar, you were designed to feed drunk people bar food while they watch sporting events...and you completely and utterly failed. I don't think I'll ever be back after that sort of service.
SKILLET NACHOS. That is all you need to know. I'd like to consider myeslf a nacho aficionado and this place delivered. I will say that if you're hungry this could be a meal for 2 people or an appetizer for more but def not a meal for 3 (especially if you eat like I do! nom nom nom). Add chili to these nachos while you're at it. They come on a skillet and are layered well with stretchy melted cheese everywhere! Â The guac, sour cream and salsa is on the side which was unique.
The beer list isn't great (not very interesting beers) but whatever. Atmosphere -- typical sports bar, staff were pretty friendly.
I'm writing this review for their Sunday brunch. Â I realize that not many people check yelp before going out to brunch on Boylston, but hopefully someone will find this helpful.
We ended up at McGreevy's because The Pour House next door was full and we were starving. Â There were plenty of tables open, so we sat down and the server brought over the *very limited* and rather pricey brunch menu. Â I just wanted french toast, but they closest thing on the menu was "french toast sticks" which the server assured me were made in-house.
Our food took literally half an hour to come out. Â My french toast sticks tasted like something straight out of the freezer aisle plopped in a deep-fryer. Â My boyfriend's waffle fries-sausage meat-eggs dish was also not very appetizing. Â At least we weren't sitting next to the portable basketball machine which a few of the kids there (and their parents) thought would be a good idea to play. Â One almost took out one of the servers as she was walking by with an armful of plates.
Overall: bad food, slow service, high prices. Â Avoid if you can.
I'm a wicked regular and have loved it since Day One. My first time was NYE and free shots were given at midnights. It's a great place for that good ol' Boston pride feel, as well. Their social media (Twitter, mostly) is phenomenal; they will usually Tweet back at you. The staff is friendly and beer knowledgeable, too. Always a good time and never a cover!! They also have great nachos!
Review Source:This is really disappointing.
Pros: Â Cheap appetizers, semi-cheap beer, music is good
Cons: Â Food quality (you question the sanitation), beer selection,
CUSTOMER SERVICE -- I was greeted by a red headed gentleman at the door who gave my co-worker and I a dirty look right away. Â We had to wait a long time for our food and drinks and deal with this jerk at the door staring at us. Â I then almost witnessed a fight and saw the Manager on duty shake hands and laugh with one of the participants after the other guy was kicked out of the bar? Â Very unprofessional.
We ended up walking out after the big red-headed bouncer made sexual passes at this 22yr old I work with. Â Uggh. Â She called him a perve and he got really upset and threatened all of this. Â Never again. Â That was probably the worst bar experience of my life.
Well this place is really great for large groups. They have an area in the back & another downstairs so it works well for that. I have never eaten here since I am generally not a fan of bar food. This is a place to hang out & watch the game, so it works in that sense. The do have a lot of sports memorabilia on the walls which is pretty damn cool.
Review Source:Perfect Irish sports bar. Â All we wanted was enough room for 4 of us to sit together and all have direct views of several televisions. Â McGreevy's was perfect and we had a great server. Â Standard bar food. Â The downstairs couches are perfect for a larger group if you call ahead for a reservation.
Review Source:Incredibly average. Â I stopped in for breakfast one morning. Â Service was good but the food was just average. Â They did screw up my order and brought me eggs over easy rather than scrambled. Â When I pointed that out, the waitress brought me a side of scrambled eggs that were overdone. Â Would I go again, maybe.
Review Source:This is a good go-to if you are a looking for a downtown sports bar for small groups of up to 4 people. Â Anything larger is not ideal as it will be harder to get the high boys.
Servers and bartenders are attentive and you get mixed crowd of tourists and college kids. Â They have a lot of theme nights and specials. It can be packed of course on peak game days/nights but once you are in, it's a comfortable and fun setting.
Food is ok, pub food and prices are average which helps if you are staying for a few hours. Â They do have a private room downstairs for large parties with pretty cool sports memorabilia.
Made it to 2 stars, because the wait staff for our group was very good and attentive. I particularly underwhelming fried chicken & waffles featured overcooked, tough and dry boneless chicken breasts over the small waffles. Three of us ordered that, all agreed with that assessment. Similar complaints on chicken from the boneless buffalo chicken and the chicken in another's salad. Fried calamari was pretty forgettable. Fried pickles were enjoyed.
Review Source:An Irish, Sports Bar...in Boston???
Although the concept is far from original,
this bar is well known in this category.
It's a popular hangout for the college set.
THE DEAL: Â They have lots of THEME NIGHTS...
Trivia Night, Tattoo Contests and Pre-Game Events.
Tuesday nights offer $1.00 1/4 lb. Bacon Cheeseburgers!
Typical pub :)
$1 cheeseburger on Tuesday night + chili cheese fries was a pretty good combo. Decent service. Apparently they were short on staff that night, so I'm sure service might be better the next time you go in.
The burger itself was basically just what'd you'd make if you had a huge BBQ. Frozen patties, throw em on the grill for a bit, put em on a bun and a slice of cheese. Done. The chili cheese fries were pretty good, typical greasy bar food :), just the way I like it.
It's nothing to leave work early for on a Tuesday, but if you eventually do get off work, its worth a shot.
When I found myself alone one evening in the Back Bay, probably the worst thing I could've done is wander into a Red Sox-themed bar.
... And when I did wander into that Red Sox-themed bar, probably the worst thing I could've been wearing was a Yankees shirt.
... And when I decided to spend my night at a Red Sox-themed bar wearing my Yankees shirt, probably the worst time to do that would've been during a Yankees/Red Sox game.
But if you ever find yourself in the Back Bay, with a Yankees shirt on, looking to watch the game ... probably the BEST thing you can do is spend the night at McGreevy's.
The bartenders were kind & attentive, and the bar food hit the spot. The crowd was accepting, but got more crowded & rowdier as the innings wore on. But it's Boston, and I didn't expect anything less. The decor is pretty cool too ... minus the one upside-down Yankees frame. Yeahhhh, I noticed. Thanks.
(All jokes aside, it's pretty cool. Worth stopping in the next time you're wandering around the Back Bay.)
So I have to say if you're going to give out free apps to people, at least make sure you inform the venue first. I "won" free apps for me and 20 of my friends through an ad on facebook.
I showed up to venue and asked the doorman where I should go for my party. He informed me he was not aware of any party. I ended up speaking to a waitress who told me to talk to her manager. He looked like he had no idea that he was expecting 20+ ppl for that night. Luckily he was super calm and pulled together an area in the back of the bar for us. Food took awhile to come out probably due to the unexpected party. Our waitress Devon was super nice though, so I'll give them a star for that. Funny thing is I called the person two days before our event to confirm that it was happening and she informed me that it was.
Next time, don't promise you'll provide a service to someone and not go through with it. It's bad for business.
We were part of a private party at McGreevy's tonight and we stayed well after the private party ended. Â The bar service was excellent and the wait staff came by about every five minutes to make sure our beers were full and we had enough to eat. Â On top of that, the food was excellent for pub standards -- we had two appetizers and an entree.
There was a good selection of beers on tap, but I would have liked to have seen more local beer available. Â Overall, my coworkers and I really enjoyed the place and we'd be glad to return again.
I do enjoy this place.
Yes, it is obsessively Boston Sports themed (more specifically, Red Sox)
and if you know the story of the Royal Rooters, Tessie, 'Nuf Ced' McGreevy, etc, you will understand why!
Ken Casey knew, and thats why they opened this place. It may be 'new', but it goes on 100+ years of heritage
So mor eon the bar. The best part? The waitress in a Sean Thornton T doing shots of Jamisons with us! ha
But really. The food is good and tasty if you go for lunch, events or snacks. The atmosphere is great, the memorabilia is great to look at, and you wont leave disappointed.
it gets crowed, it gets packed, and that is fine. that means its a good place to go.
A must have spot for any Sox fan. Try some of their signature mixed drinks too if you want something different than Beer of alcohol!
(also, you never know who you may see in there. Two springs ago, after the Bruins lost to the flyers in the playoff, I went downstairs to use the restrooms, and about 15 members of the Bruins were down there having an end of season party. Pretty cool!)
Antique baseball memorabilia and old-school, turn of the century decor makes for the the most awesome pub interior in Boston. Very easy to kill three or four hours here.
Absolutely fantastic food since they brought on a new head chef six months ago. There is literally not one mediocre item on the menu, and their burger is the best one I've had in Boston in five years of living here. No joke.
Offers 1/2 price appetizers from 4PM to 7PM on weekdays, and $1 BURGERS ON TUESDAY NIGHTS. The $1 burger is slightly smaller than the original, but equally delicious, and it's the best food deal on Boylston Street. Even Pour House doesn't do a $1 burger.
McGreevy's also does a great brunch, which is fairly new to them, so it's not as popular as the brunch offered by some of their competitors, but it's great nonetheless. The fried donuts with Kahlua frosting are to die for.
PBR for $3 is their cheap beer option, which is pretty decent. Overall, I would say their draft beer selection is lacking in a few key items, namely Coors Light for those of you who enjoy it, but the food makes up for the undersized draft selection, and their liquor prices are competitive; well stuff is $7, everything else is $8, unless you do something crazy like a Long Island Iced Tea or a car bomb, which the bar serves by the hundreds every night, which are $11, so I'd say their prices are pretty low.
Their serving staff is polite, usually chipper and knowledgeable, since I think most of them have been there for the better part of a year. McGreevy's has had its share of issues related to high turnover, but that's really just a part of the business. If you've ever had a lackluster waitress, chances are, she was probably brand new, as McGreevy's more veteran wait staff never has an off night.
The bar staff is almost 100% female, and though they're nice to look at, they aren't always the friendliest bunch of girls, which can be intimidating for female patrons who want to spend their night at the bar. However, again, it's kind of a part of the business, especially in this city. For my part, I've never had a bad experience at the bar, nor has anyone else I've sent there, and Casey, their one male bartender, is a total hoot and a holler and one of my favorite bartenders anywhere.
On a Friday or Saturday night, the bar gets pretty busy, especially if there's a game on one of their many, many TV's. On the upside, it's nice to know there's still a happening spot on Boylston Street other than the Pour House, but on the downside, the weekend crowd can be pretty male-heavy, even too much, I would say. The bar is near a whole bunch of colleges and doesn't attract girls the way the Pour House does, and I would say the main issue is their music. McGreevy's, as many of you may know, is part-owned by Ken Casey, founder of Dropkick Murphy's, and he insists that the music be kept hovering around the punk, alternative punk, and modern rock genres, especially on busy weekend nights. Suffice it to say, there's NO Top-40 stuff here, and thus, NO dancing on the weekends, and that just isn't going to bring the girls in. I would say this is McGreevy's biggest problem.
In conclusion, I would say that McGreevy's is not going to be the weekend party spot until they get their music issue solved. However, if you're looking for a spot to eat and drink with friends and watch your favorite team, this is the best place around.
if you like bars that try to be an Irish pub - and fail.
If you like bars that try to be a sports bar - Â and fail.
If you like bars full of Macho jocks drunk on cheap beer, if you like bars with bad drink selections, bars with really BAD wait staff, if you like your bartenders to have no clue about their product, if you like all of this -- well then you and this place deserve each other.
I've been to McGreevy's many a time (it is, after all, the bar that shows all the USC football games), but I felt like I had to eat there before writing my full review.
I'm a big fan of this bar... it's small, but as other reviewers have mentioned, they do a really good job of controlling the crowd during peak hours. The service is actually pretty good (and I'm talking by normal standards, not Boston's dismally low standards), both at the bar and with the tables in the back. Also... $9 PBR pitchers, which are great for a grad student budget during finals week.
The food, as well, is pretty damn good. Â I really wanted to try the fried pickles, but since my companion acted like I was trying to poison him... we went with our server's rec of the nachos with chili. She warned us that the nachos would "feed a small army" and she was not kidding. My companion and I made a serious attempt at killing them... but only made it about 2/3 of the way through before we were too stuffed to continue.
My ONE beef with the place... the music is all out of whack. You'll listen to a few songs at normal volume, and then two will blast out so loud you can barely hear yourself think. Yes, I know that I sound extremely uncool and old as I type this... but yeah. My only suggestion.
So, off the bat, this place isn't super terrible. Â It's can be totally fine. Â However, it has a propensity to attract a bit of a d-bag set. Â
I felt bad for my waitress, who was basically just wearing a sports bra. Â But she was super nice and actually a good waitress, but she was being accosted by every stereotypical "old-boys-club" Shooter McGavin (Shooter McGreevy?) type every time she turned around. Â "Hey I want you to meet someone...huhuhuhu!" Â Whatever the hell. Â
So, yeah, I mean, "ITIZWHUDDDIZZZ", but the thing that made me give it 2 stars instead of 3 is that mac'n'cheese. Â I would definitely not recommend it. Â The fish'n'chips my friends had looked pretty decent actually, so it seems like the typical "pub grub" is probably totally fine. Â
But this GD mac'n'cheese! Â Let me tell you about it!!!! Â I WILL!!!! Â ? Â Anyway, it came in those crappy beige-plastic bowls that they served you soup in in Kindergarten and the mac'n'cheese was the consistency of a crappy Kindergarten-esque runny clam chowder (at least the way I had it in back in Indiana). Â The thing had basically no taste at all. Â Just genero-mac and milk-water. Â So, I added some hot sauce and black pepper and salt and that somehow made it worse. Â I can't explain that thing. Â It was really not good. Â
But whatever, they have TV's, kitch and random BS going on. Â
Whatchie gonna do?!?!?!
ceil(average( 3 stars for food, 0 star for lack of service) ) = 2 stars
I came in 3pm on a Saturday afternoon for a bite and found the place to be sparsely-populated. Â That was fine since I knew I came during an off-hour, but I didn't expect service to be terrible, let alone non-existent. Â We seated ourselves at a table, but didn't get service for a full 10 minutes. Â When the waitress did make it over, she joked "oh, sorry, you guys snuck in without me noticing *smiles* ". Â Total BS. Â We know that you were flirting with the group of guys at the back table during those 10 mins. Â We had to flag down the waitress for everything (i.e. ordering, water refills, check). Â We were 1 of 3 tables at the place. Â It's not hard to service 3 tables. Â Then she draws a heart on the receipt to elicit a higher tip from us? Â No, you're not getting it.
Despite the service, the fish and chips ($13) definitely had a wow factor in size, not quality. Â The fish was huge; it was a near full filet deep-fried to a golden crisp served over a heaping portion of waffle fries (my fav!). Â A unhealthy, greasy lunch indeed but it's worth the once-in-a-while splurge. Â
Conclusion? Â Never coming back. Â Maybe only for drinks. Â It's got a nice wooden decor with nostalgic hangings on the walls.
When all you're having is beer from a tap or bottle the only other thing to rate on is customer service.
2.5 is more like it. 4 adults, sit at the bar, tall brunette bartender, more interested in checking herself out in a mirror than being polite by using those words mom and dad taught us ALL when we were young utes makes this a 2.5er. Â
She looked good but you know what they say.. once they open their mouths it's a turnoff? Well this was once she didn't open her mouth it was a turn off.
The positive 2.5 was the other bartender who was widely tattooed and extremely pleasant. She was great but couldn't make up for the other dead wood.
This place appears to be your average sports bar. Extra props for being the USC hub during NCAA football season :) We came on St. Patty's night, and I was relieved to see that the bouncers were doing a good job of letting in just the right amount of people so that the bar wasn't too crowded to be enjoyable. Comfort over profits. Very nice.
The waitresses were really sweet and attentive, a definite plus. The drinks were pretty standards, and the beer selection was a tad dismal, but I had a good time and would make a return visit.
Mehhhhhhdiocre.
If they were still running the special for ten cent wings on Sunday, I'd have given McGreevy's 3 stars. But having paid $8 for seven slimy wings on a recent Sunday, I just can't justify the third star. Compounding the issue were the extremely amateur nachos, with less than expertly layered toppings.
I do like the decor here, featuring Boston sports memorabilia from the turn of the 20th century. I also appreciate the abundance of high-definition televisions throughout the bar. There are worse places to watch sports.
Finally, I am curious why the bartenders were wearing only bustiers and panties during my last visit to McGreevy's. Don't get me wrong, they looked good, but this is the sort of place where bartenders in sports jerseys are more expected.
Brunch is sacred. Â A sacred event among friends and loved ones where you rehash the shenanigans of the weekend, kill a hangover with a cocktail, and fill up on some good grub. Â Did McGreevy's hold up their end of the deal? Â Let's take a look:
Did we wait 20 min for our drinks? Â Yes. Â Did we wait 60 min for our eggs? Â Yes. Â Did we have to ask for silverware not once, but twice after they brought one set for the table of six? Â Yes. Â Did four of our six orders all have a mistake? Â Yes. Â Did the cash/card payment divide get messed up when paying the check? Â Yes. Â Did the waitress apologize ONCE for these problems? Â Nope.
Lesson learned - while McGreevy's can load up on fun sports memorabilia and be a decent pub by night, they cannot be trusted with the hallowed ritual of Sunday brunch.
Mediocre.
I came here after work with a big team of coworkers. Â It was 5:20 or so in the PM, so there was plenty of room. Â Nobody upstairs but the regular afternoon drinkers; we took over a big table in the back.
Despite the fact that the bar was nearly empty, the staff had the music (meaning, somebody's iPod) on piercing volume. Â I had to yell to be heard at the other end of the table.
After our beer came out, the waitress came back to take some appetizer orders. Â We got two plates of nachos that had clearly been microwaved for 2 minutes too long. Â The cheese was a dry, crusty mess; the chips were like cardboard.
Once we choked those down, we waited for our waitress to return. Â And waited. Â And waited. Â Eventually, one of my coworkers flagged down another waitress, who apologized profusely: our original waitress had clocked out and there had been some confusion over who should take the table.
I wouldn't rate a bar this harshly for a few minor screw-ups like that, but, again, the bar was nearly empty. Â If a bar can't handle a table of 6 people before the post-dinner rush, how should I expect them to handle things when it's busy?
What lifted this bar from 2 stars to 3, for me, was the Guinness. Â Near perfect quality. Â So sit at the bar, order a pint and something they can't screw up, and maybe you'll have a better time than I did.
The Stump Trivia website said McGreevy's had Trivia on Wed. nights so a group of us made plans to go. When the first person in the crew arrived she learned that there was no Trivia, but people were already on their way so it didn't really make sense to change the venue. Â Though I personally would rather stick a toothpick in my eyeball than watch a baseball game on TV in a bar (with the exception of a really good World Series game) we figured it would at least be a good place for most people to watch the Red Sox Yankees game. Â It was not a good idea.
- One person ordered the pork sliders. "Sorry, we're all out."
- One person asked for balsamic vinegar for her salad. "Sorry, we don't have any." When her salad finally did arrive, the chicken that was supposed to be on it was MIA.
- One person ordered the fish & chips for dinner. Twenty minute later, the server came over to tell him they were all out. Â So, he ordered something else. After his meal eventually came and he was in the middle of eating it, Fish & Chips showed up?!
- One person ordered a Bud Light on tap. "Sorry, we only have Bud." So, he asked for Coors Light on tap. Nope, they don't have that either.
- Three people asked (at 3 different times throughout the night) for the vent blowing freezing cold air to be turned down. It never happened. Â
- When the food finally arrived, everything was ice cold. I had the absolute worst nacho's I have ever had. Take a plate of nachos and cook it for too long and then let it sit for 10 minutes so the cheese sticks like dried glue. That'll be better than what I had.
The server, though extremely air-headed, was nice enough. She's the reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one. Â I know this is a sports bar and I wasn't expecting the food to be fabulous by any means. I would have accepted mediocrity but this wasn't even mediocre - it just plain sucked.
I actually found a sports bar in Boston that I adore! Yay!
For me, the perfect sports bar is one that has good appetizers, beer a-flowin' (and by a-flowin' I mean people looking out for emptying glasses and offering to fill them right back up), has good eye candy as far as memorabilia goes but nothing so "in your face" that it's annoying, games on large screens viewable from anywhere in the bar, and enough space to enjoy it. Â Â McGreevy's met my standards and then some.
I watched game 3 of the Celtics/Lakers finals and most of the crowd inside were absolutely into the game, rather than incessant flirting or drinking solely to get drunk and make a scene. Â I even had a waitress scope out a table for my group and she procured us one within a short amount of time. Â My group shared the macaroni and cheese and Guinness beef stew, and we were impressed - it was great and certainly well above bar food standards!
The memorabilia was touching, rather than loud and obscene. Â Think the exact *opposite* of the sports bars that boast neon signs of championship seasons and alerts that Miller Lite is served there. Â Any sports fan who has even a slight interest in old Sox history would absolutely adore McGreevy's and can spend a good hour just admiring their walls.
Beers are $5 or $6, you have a choice of five or six, they're all mega-brews like Bud and Sam. The menu is stuff like wings, burgers and a whole lot of everything you ever see served and every other mediocre bar. There is no invention, nothing stand-out with the food or drink here. It's basic, it's pretty cheap, it's not what you should be here for. The seats aren't all that comfy, the waitresses are hot but not very sharp, the crowd has a fairly large number of popped collars and there are TVs showing sports pretty much everywhere at any time.
That's the bad points. If you don't like sports bars - basically that's enough to send you home.
But... if you do like sports bars, then this is a class above. Place has history. There is no denying. This is probably the best sports bar in town, maybe the world. The decor is firmly 100 years back and done very well. There is baseball stuff everywhere but it's done WAY better than a Hard Rock Cafe or some crap like that. Where else are the light fittings made from bats that the Red Sox actually used last year?
Despite the fact that Papelbon kind of strikes me as a douche, and that I've never like the Dropkicks that much - I have to credit them for putting this bar together.
If you call yourself a Red Sox fan then you HAVE to come here. Them's the rules!
